Sites are smallish bring extra power cords, water hose, and sewer extensions. Other than that camp store is nice and well stocked with fair pricing, bathrooms are dated but cleaned well and kept that way. Laundry is awesome and only 3.75 a load wash and dry. Pond is nice pool was clean and nice . A lot for the kids to do all day we will definitely be back!!

We stayed here for one night while passing through on our way south. The campground seemed to have a large number of full-time residents, and a few of the campers were in poor condition which we were surprised to see. We didn’t visit the lake, and while my kids said the pool was “okay,” the mini golf course looked so run-down that we didn’t even attempt to play. There is a bit of road noise as you are near the highway, but it wasn’t that bad and didn’t keep us up at all. We appreciated the close proximity to the highway for our quick stop. If you're sensitive to chemicals or strong scents, be aware that the front office was overwhelmingly fragrant with what seemed to be artificial air fresheners. The smell was so strong that I couldn’t complete the check-in process—I developed a headache and started feeling dizzy. The front desk staff were friendly though. Overall, it was fine for a quick overnight stop, but it felt overpriced for what was offered. We probably wouldn’t return.

This was my very first camp ground my family attended together for years as a kid. Back when I remember it was a yogi bear. Up until I was maybe 12 we stopped going. Not sure why. But then years later went back and it just wasn’t the same. This was my favorite place as a kid. Recently went up for my sister in laws graduation party. Instant memories. Not sure how it was over the years we didn’t attend. But, the new owners are making nice progress which takes time. Pool looks great! The pond looks great as well. Little jump area for kids in the front. Ladies in the store are very nice. Very clean. I did however notice the water slide in the back is gone. There is a Vollyball net near the pond. I was so shocked to see how many campers are parked there. We went back again just to swim! $7 for a day pass. Not bad. I enjoyed our time and plan to be back! If you see a little precious boy giving random kisses to strangers at the pool it’s my awesome autistic son. 💙 go make your way to covered wagon before summer ends :)

We have fallen in love with Covered Wagon! The new owners Josh & Lindsey are so friendly. They make you feel so very welcome. The campground is clean and family friendly. Fun swimming in the pool and pond. Fishing and burning lots of energy of the jump pillow. Our son enjoys riding his bike around the entire park because it’s a very friendly place. We will come back for sure!

There were some aspects that can be improved. Overall, we liked it! The new owners seemed friendly so did their staff. Their pool is nice and clean. The pond seems good for fishing! The little train they have for the kids is cute, great for little ones. For older kids they have a nice playground with a Gaga pit. They have an adorable little library, with a great choice in books! I hope they keep updating their store! They sell cute home made jewelry by a young girl! How supportive!! We loved the shade and all the trees. We found it to be so quiet, not noisy at all!! It's not perfect but give the new owners a chance to change some things...we will be back after! Areas of improvement We didn't like that the lots are not paved or even filled with gravel. Our trailer was super off level even with leveling blocks. The road also needs paved around the campground. The picnic tables definitely need to be painted or replaced. The pond was pretty overgrown. We were surprised to see that the bathroom doors were not regular length and had no locks! The showers could be updated too! We were also disappointed to see the grass on the basketball court. The biggest con was that we didn't see a hose to wash out after dumping, and then the grass lots.

Was on freeway so traffic noise is very loud. The bathroom wasn't pleasant. They said they were just opening but not going back. There is sticky stuff everywhere from the trees. Had to keep cleaning dogs' feet. It was awful. Had to scrub bottom of my shoes when I got home. Not a hotel, this is a campground.

This campground is a hidden gem. Quiet and friendly for the whole family. Many different activities for the kids each and every weekend. They have a pool that is very well taken care of. There is also a pond where you can swim and a section that you can fish as well. They have tractor ride and a cute little train ride for the kids. Overall a great getaway for family and friends.

We've camped here a number of times, and we love it. There are activities for the kids in the pavilion, and they love swimming in the pond and the pool. Our dogs are welcome and the other campers are always friendly.

We are seasonal campers here. The camp is showing great improvement since we started 2 seasons ago. Still something’s need up dating and the should open the arcade again. I would like to see them stop letting non campers use the pool. And stop charging Seasonals to use the put put. All in all great place. Great people

Not fancy, but comfy and quiet. Close to town yet “country/outdoor” feel. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool , restrooms and laundry room available. Hubby up here working and one of very few still open during winter that he could find a spot to rest his head and call home. My only issue is the laundry facilities need a little work/updates; but available if need. Handy when yours broke and not available. Beautiful pond and play areas for the kids and family & Pet friendly!
