On the way to Parker from Phoenix, one of our RV tires blew before Wenden, AZ. What a wonderful blessing this turned out to be. We looked up RV parks and saw Coyote Palms, and from the reviews, the new owners seemed nice. Well, nice isn’t the half of it! Dale was very helpful, and even helped us change the tire. This is not to say that he would do that sort of thing all of the time (in other words, I wouldn’t go there expecting him to help you with repairs on your rig), but he was very knowledgeable. This makes sense as I think he said he was a long-haul trucker for a number of years. . The park itself is in a bit of a neighborhood that looks a little bit rough at first, but it all seems safe, quiet at night, and is on the upswing. I met a couple of the neighbors at a local store called Mas Paz, and they were kind people. And that brings me to the 2nd point I want to make about our experience...the store Mas Paz is AMAZING! I’ve always seen it when traveling by (it’s right on the highway, and the store front is covered with vines and looks super cute), and have wanted to go in. Very reasonable prices and the owner (Delvina) is great. All in all, consider staying at Coyote Palms RV park and going to Mas Paz--we had a great customer experience at both, and it's a comfortable place to stop if you're tired of driving!

I am a Brit walking across America. I arrived in Wenden looking for somewhere to camp and came across Coyote Palms RV Park. Dale and Aja said I was welcome to pitch my tent. They are a friendly, kind couple, with good local knowledge, who will go out of their way to help you. I had a great night there and walked on to Aguila the next day. Dale even rode over on his motorbike to check if I had enough water and food. Good place, good people.

The couple who just bought this park are very kind, they provided us all the help we needed and they cleaned the park up so nicely! Definitely coming back here more often!!! Great job!
