The cabin, which is a duplex is just the bare minimum. It worked for us. We couldve used some heat or an extra blanket. Had a good night's sleep and coffee in the morning. Thats all we needed. You have to drive into Corbin to get food if the restaurant isn't open, which was our case. We got take out and ate at the falls. There were hardly any people there. It was lovely.

The park is gorgeous! Love that there are paved trails so a wheelchair, stroller, walker, etc are able to go down the path to see the falls and river. The park was VERY busy. We arrived on a Friday around noon. The main parking lot was full so we crossed the bridge to a pull-off parking lot. There was a trail head that took us to the opposite side of the river! Perfect! We got to see the falls, took a strenuous hike to another waterfall, and there were few people. This trail is not paved and is a level 8 out of 10 for difficulty. LOVED it!

One of the best places to go when I want to just get away. The falls are amazing. There's easy access for those who can walk flat surfaces. There are trails and stairs for those who want to put in a little more effort. There's a small beach area at the for of the falls where pet owners take their dogs to play in the water. It's amazing!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cumberland Falls SRP. Nice historic lodge with all modern amenities. Very clean room but the queen room was little small. Comfortable bed. Very quiet easy sleeping room. The lunch buffet was good, the dinner buffet was great, restaurant staff most excellent hospitality. The only option continental breakfast was sad for those that enjoy a hearty breakfast. Great location near the gorgeous waterfall. Easy parking.

No hiking needed to see this beautiful fall!!!!I didn’t want to post all my pictures because you really have to experience how beautiful this place is in person. We were lucky enough to enjoy an event they had going on—wow, just awesome! The gift shop offers some great handmade items at reasonable prices, though the staff could be a bit more welcoming. We also grabbed a delicious funnel cake on our way out. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park in Kentucky is a gem of natural beauty, famously home to the "Niagara of the South." The majestic waterfall is especially stunning during a full moon when the rare moonbow appears—a magical sight you won’t forget. The park offers well-maintained hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting and photography. Whether you're exploring the forest, enjoying a picnic, or staying at the charming lodge, there's something for everyone. The combination of natural wonder, outdoor activities, and peaceful atmosphere makes Cumberland Falls an ideal destination for families, couples, and nature enthusiasts alike.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet during our stay in the campgrounds. We have a small camper. Our site was quite level, but some of the sites are not. Lots of the sights have decks with a picnic table. Shower rooms were very clean. I did some of the trails. Trail 9 to Eagles Falls is spectacular at the falls. No dogs on that trail. All other trails allow dogs. This park has lots to do for kids.

Only visited the falls and completed a short hike. Everybody enjoyed their time and thought it was great. The waterfall is very large and cool to view but if I’m honest it doesn’t make my top five waterfalls in Kentucky. Maybe I’m just partial to being able to go behind the others and play in the water.

Took a quick family trip for Fall break and have really enjoyed our time here! Our cabin was perfect for our needs and was a great place to crash after a long day of hiking. Breakfast at the lodge was included with our stay and it fit great into our morning schedule. The trails are well maintained and the views are spectacular! The staff are incredibly friendly and got us a cabin near the playground. My son is already begging to come back.

Needs some upgrades which are reportedly coming in the fall; however, it is a beautiful place and very comfortable. The dining room food was amazing! Ragu Bolognese and Pork Marsala one night, fabulous fish and hush puppies another night. Also a nice salad bar and soups. I was stuffed both nights I was there!
