This is our second time coming and we will definitely be coming back. Staff is very friendly. Fishing, hiking, kids play area. There is plenty to do if interested or if you are just wanting to sit back and relax around the fire, this is the place. Your choice on how you want to spend your get away and this is a nice place to try just that. Also to note, WiFi is very good!!

Exceptional campground - we are full-time RVers - many places to compare Cummins Ferry to. Easy to reserve and contact with questions, great check-in process. Helpful staff while on-site - Thanks Kevin! BEAUTIFUL grounds! The river is so nice and we appreciate the community fire over-looking the river - what a wonderful evening! The free live music was enjoyable. The WIFI is the best we have encountered - and FREE! This park permits Amazon deliverers - which is Awesome and necessary for full-timers. We will gladly stay again when visiting this area. We also enjoyed Keeneland racetrack and the Burbon Trail in this area.

The staff were so kind and accommodating. There were many activities to enjoy. One could kayak, fish, hike or just relax in a beautiful place. The Halloween activities were such fun! I am looking forward to camping there again soon. I must add that it is kid and pet friendly as well. Their store is really interesting too.

We stayed here about a week and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This park has so much charm and the people running it are some of the nicest folks around. It's right on the Kentucky River and offers lots of fun activities including kayak rentals, Frisbee golf, karaoke, and live music just to name a few. The location is perfect if you are doing the Kentucky Bourbon Trail too. What an absolute gem of an RV park. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to camp.

The campground is so peaceful right on the KY River and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. Loved the fall decor so many pumpkins and corn stalks really made it special. The staff was wonderful so friendly and always visible driving around the campground. Would definitely stay here again and recommend the park to others. Just FYI your park was recommended by a local winery that we have visited several times.

Service was great! As soon as you arrive a guide in his golf cart would lead you to your site and help you back in. Sites were small but concreted. They would also deliver firewood to your site if you purchased. Unfortunately it was higher than we expected for the wood. Great view of the Kentucky River and waterfall. Many amenities, food trucks, live music, karoke, canoe/kayak, fishing, etc in campground. Wineries and distilleries within half an hour. The hill down to get to this place is one lane so they are very strict on time arrival so you don't have to back up/down when another camper is trying to pass. If we would come again we'd come a little more into the summer so we could kayak. We had a rainy/stormy couple nights and morning here.

We had a great one night stay at Cummins ferry. You should know that the road getting there is pretty tight, but their communication prior to arrival is excellent and let you know everything you need to know. Most of these sites are pretty level, but I would bring extra blocking just in case you need to level up. The scenery is gorgeous and the staff are exceptional. Hard to believe that a month ago, this place was underwater. They have done a great job to get it up and going.

Cummins Ferry Campground is an excellent choice for RV camping. It’s everything you want it be in a campsite. It is clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are plenty of amenities and beautiful views of the Kentucky River. We will definitely be back! Kevin made us feel extremely welcome. He was also around to answer any questions and help us when we needed help. He definitely represented the friendly environment at Cummins ferry. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Doug G.

Beautiful campground right on the Kentucky River. Enjoyed the music and the food truck on Saturday night. Check in was easy and the service was great. The only downer for the weekend was all the rain, but hey, they can't control that. Hope to visit again when the weather is nicer and take advantage of the other offerings they have available.

The people who ran the campground were friendly and helpful. Our spot was level enough that we didn't have to use blocks and the utilities were close. We also had a nice view of the river and cliffs from our campsite. The shower room was very clean and spacious. The timer on the lights needs to be extended so that you don't have the lights turn out on you during the middle of your shower though. The entertainment and ice cream truck on Saturday night were nice and a lot of people did show up for those events. We had a great stay and met some really nice people.
