Perfect stop during our trip across the U.S.! The host was friendly, came out to welcome us the moment we arrived. The campground is spotless and well cared for, with beautiful views of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything felt clean, safe, and relaxing. We would have loved to stay a few more days if time allowed. We’ll definitely be back!

This campground is a great place to stay! Pull through sites with full hookups. 50/30 amp power. Our site was level, and all sites looked level from what I could see. Small lake that you can walk around, has a nice large dock with chairs. The place is clean and tidy. The owners are fantastic, as is the help. We will definitely be back.

We were having trouble finding a place to stay with our motorhome for the night and finally found this amazing campground in Champaign, Illinois. The people are the friendliest and most caring people I've ever met, and they do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. The campground is obviously well maintained, and the sites are far enough apart that you don't feel like you are crowded. They have a small lake for fishing or you can just wander around the lake on the half-mile walking path, with plenty of shade trees. Definitely very welcoming. I wish there were more parks like this one across the country, and I would definitely stay here again.

We are a French family on a road trip across the USA. Our route took us to this campsite for one night and how lucky we were. We were welcomed as if we were long-time friends. The managers are great... they don't hesitate to give advice, to put everything in place for the well-being of the campers. Our children will have very good memories of these people. The site is very clean, very quiet. Perfect for recovering from a long journey. I highly recommend it. Thank you for this moment.

An absolutely beautiful campground!! Very, very clean and pretty, dog and kid friendly. Just the right size, nice walking path around the pond/lake. Not a lot of bugs at all and believe me, they find me. All the sights and people so friendly. Not bad being off the intestate at all. Muffled sounds of the cars were all we really heard. So many different birds and the camp is beautifully kept. The hosts and their workers were all so kind and helpful!!

Just stopped at D&W for one night on our road trip back home. Totally impressed by the well maintained camping area and bathhouse. Everything in clean and good working order. Host was very welcoming and helpful. A great experience all around. Would highly recommend a stay at D&W 😊.

On very short notice we needed a stay on with hookups to wait out a snowstorm on our way to Tulsa. We were the only occupants but Matt, the owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel welcomed, even helped me clear snow from the rig so we could get back on the road. Matt is the kind of park owner who makes you remember where why you fell in love with RVing to start with. His grandfather built place and he is keeping it going. It’s very convenient to I57 but far enough away that the noise isn’t a bother. Great place for an overnight.

We’ve stayed here twice before and love coming back. I believe this is the 3rd generation that’s owning the park now and family pride shows. It’s kept neat and clean. Easy check-in. This time, the owner called me as I was about 20 minutes away to tell me that the interstate exit was blocked and told me an alternative route. If he hadn’t called, I would’ve been taken on a 9-mile detour. We got an escort to our site, which I always appreciate. Not that much noise from I-57 nearby. The lake in front with the geese and ducks to wonderful to view from our front window. All the utilities worked just fine, although the water had a slight metallic taste.

Love, love, love this place. This was just a one- night, last minute stop for us as we were driving Eastbound. It was 5 RVs in our group. The setting is very neat and clean and there is a beautiful lake that you can walk/bike around. The owner, Matt, was very helpful and friendly. The sites were great and roomy. My only regret is that we were here for one day - wish it had been longer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
