Mid stay review: not sure what all of the fuss is about in the reviews. Yes, employees are out and about in their golf carts. Yes, there is visible construction. Yes, there are a lot of planes. Yes, the internet is still out as of 11/7. BUT - the host was nothing but nice when we checked in. We requested early check in for an extra fee & was accommodated. The place is overall quiet. Our A/C units are running nonstop because of the heat - so the first time I heard a plane was when I went outside to walk the dog - Nothing heard while inside. While there is visible construction, we haven’t heard any noise from it. The dog area is nice - given the reviews i wasn’t expecting there to be one. The employees seem nice so far. Given the lack of options in the area, I’d stay here again. It’s a little pricey for what it is, but location - location - location.

We just had a wonderful 2 night stay in one of the cute little cottages. It had everything we needed, galley kitchen, comfortable bed & great porch for enjoying the sunrise with our coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool! The staff is amazing and they are making great improvements all over the park !! We will definitely be back with our RV next time !!!

This campground is on the incoming flight line, so you hear planes 24/7 as they descend. Also, there is a farm with roosters next door so they wake you before sunrise. The showers were locked at 7 a.m. when I needed a shower, not sure why. The facility is getting upgrades so it will be a very nice campground, however the sleep noise is making me give less stars.

Customer service is a major lack at this place. It’s torn up with construction. They do not accommodate you as their guest. The owner needs to calm it down and realize not everyone is out to get her or stiff her on a 5 dollar parking pass. They drive around all day looking for “rule breakers” very uneasy feeling and by no means a comfortable stay. Pick another campground promise it will be better than this place. Bummer too looks like it can be a very nice place.

Staff is great. Owner is a tyrant. Drives campground every day nit picking issues. Visiting our daughter who is giving our spare car back. Parked car in overflow lot. Owner charged $10 a day for it. Campground doesn't have wifi or cable as advertised. Cable was cut by renovations with no plans to restore.

Good reviews paid for bad ones hidden. Pulled in and pulled right out. Low grade a fancy trailer park. Not sure what that Kerr is thinking but to over pay for some dirty gravel I’m good. Over weight staff can’t be bothered getting out of their seat to help guest when food and TV are more important.

God Bless Amber for her excellent customer service skills and willingness to help. We arrived to our campsite in Big Cypress to find one other camper, who informed us he was robbed there. We desperately needed a SAFE campsite near the Everglades, and Amber got us into one before sunset. She is a true asset to her employer. Good job KOA!

Beautiful RV sites with cement patios, outdoor furniture, table, firepit and lighting. Pool was heated and heavenly for November! The hookups were all new fixtures. Plenty of area for dogs, and a beautiful park next to and across the street with miles of trails! The managers and staff made our stay the best! They quickly became friends! Looking forward to returning.

We booked this spot in advance of our upcoming cruise. When we arrived, we quickly found out there was no wifi other than in the office. I stated this would not work as I still need to be connected, they stated no refunds. They did provide me an out if I left in an hour, so we quickly packed up and were gone. I had also reserved a spot to store my camper while we were on our cruise. They called me a day before and said that was no longer an option, leaving us high and dry after previously assuring us we could still use the storage area. Not a way to run a business that wants people to return. KOA should no longer associate with campgrounds like this one.

So this KOA is a nice place, and getting nicer. How does it get nicer? By renovation, which means construction!!! So as of early 2025, you should be warned that visually, you may have to over look a few things. It's all in the name of progress, so I can't say anything bad about what is happening, but for a possible visitor, you should know there is work being done here. The sites are a little close together and a little small, but adequate for the price, i guess. The restrooms and showers are well maintained and cleaned every day. I looks as if the shower house is new, I could be wrong, but they are well cleaned, decent size, and looks like a recent update or build on it. There are separate restrooms from the showers. It would be nice to have them all in one, but...they are steps away from each other. The pool shows a little age, but everything around it's appears to be recently updated. There is a Saturday pancake breakfast for free, pool side. All In all, I will be back anytime I'm doing something in Fort Lauderdale.
