Great time every time we go.

This was our first time to stay at Alpine Ridge. Met the park ranger when first arrived and he was very nice and helpful. We stayed at site #2. We were right beside the restroom/bathhouse. Very quiet and beautiful park. We had Verizon phone service but not enough for internet. We will definitely come back.

We use to love it. Over the last few years, Alpine Ridge has needed things done & so far all they did was add water to each site.after this year's flood they didn't even clean it much. This place was beautiful a 1 time. Now it's not. Last year several of us in our group fell because of the pads you put your campers on having drop-offs from rainwater washing it out. What did they do to fix it? They piled crushed rock up to fix it! Yep it didn't work!

First time camping at alpine ridge and it was really nice! The site we were at 12 wasn't my favorite. The camper sits facing the water with everything else like the fire pit, table and lamp pole are behind it. Kinda weird. Leaves not much room to walk in front of camper door due to lots of huge tree roots and camper pad has a big drop off. So I'd probably mark site 12 off my list to reserve. Other than that the place is amazing. Love all the trees for shade. The bathrooms were very clean. They are stocked with soap and paper towels. Nice clean showers. The swimming area/play ground is nice. With good shady areas. Has a couple bench seats and one swinging bench. The boat ramp is nice and close. We really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely will come back!!

We chose Alpine Ridge because it was 1) available, 2) on Recreation.gov, and 3) about half-way home. We are sooooo glad we did! This place is great! Heated bath house, nice showers, and toilets.... very clean and well stocked. Camp sites are all quite spacious and most have a great view. Might need a longer water hose and electric cord. The lake is gorgeous. And there are so many things to go see, do, explore.... And enough trails to keep a mountain biker or hiker busy for a long, long time!

Weather was bad so we had to leave early and wasnt able to spend alot of time on the water but the views were beautiful, people were nice and the best place to go if you want to look at cool rocks, we found crystal, quartz (smokey and rose), flint and red rock. Swimming area was okay for kids... loved the installed porch swing couples can sit on while kids swim.

Great camping, beautiful lake. Slice of heaven.

Full of locals ignoring the rules. Three to four vehicles on each campsite along with a trailer, boat and screen tent. Dogs pooping in swimming beach while smokers look on. Boats on trailers parked haphazardly. When we arrived, someone was parked in our site. Boats were tied to trees at campsites. Fair amount of looky lous driving around. Nice sites, clean bathhouse, pines. Power boats are allowed on Lake but it wasn't bad with the noise. This camp ground would be great if the rules were enforced and the people are not allowed to ruin it.

Love to camp here but the water is really bad low this year and makes it not as nice as usual.
