This was the first stop of our long roadtrip with our camper and I’m so glad! It is right outside the Deleware Water Gap NP. It is a little tricky to get to, they give directions and we of course didn’t follow them so that’s our own fault haha. However pulling into the campground there is a steep decline and we did drag our weight distribution hitch quite a bit. That’s never happened anywhere so we were surprised. The woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely to chat with and the campground itself is really nice. We had a great pull through spot and walked over to the playground to play. The equipment is older but it’s fine. We loved the guinea hen and turkey hanging around that really made the experience unique. We would absolutely come back!

We have been camping at different locations for over eleven years, we've always had good customer service from every campground we've been to, but I have to say that the office staff here goes above and beyond. They were more than happy to accommodate a request that we had that was important to us. We arrived at night, so did not get to see the entire campground but I was able to check out the playground with all the kids having a blast. I also had the opportunity to use the restroom and I have to say it was the cleanest restroom/ shower building I have ever been to in a campground. I would recommend this campground to anyone, we enjoyed a few days of rest and relaxation which is what we needed. Kudos to KOA Shawnee!

We had a cabin with full bath kitchenette, very clean and cozy, the cabin had a beautiful porch to sit and relax with coffee in the morning. Our visit was in October, so Halloween festivities were in full swing! Decorations everywhere, you are invited to decorate to win a contest. In the evening a hayride to their haunted trail, which was VERY impressive! Trick or treating during day. This campground is spotless, there are so many activities for all!! Add their friendly helpful staff. 5 stars all the way!!

I think this makes our 5th time at this KOA over about 7 years. Loved it each time. You sit nestled in a valley being able to see fall colors, and this time of year (we had not realized) they run a halloween competition for campsites. The facilities are good, with lots to do for kids. If it matters, we have been here with a pop-up, small off-road travel trailer and now a Medium travel trailer. Plenty of options and lots of pull throughs. In general, what I love about KOA's is consistency, whilst also having unique setups. The fun of camping!

Stayed at this KOA this past weekend. The location is beautiful. We loved the sites we had: it was tent sites with water and electric. We were pretty close to the bathrooms. Mini golf, pickleball and volley ball area, and the live music was so much fun! The only issue we really had is the gravel of the tent site made it hard to set up one of our tents that needed to be staked into the ground. Staff was so nice and our sites when we arrived , bathroom, and common areas were clean. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family.

The owner and staff at the campground were nice and accommodating. They made our stay on a thunderstorm night super cozy and worry-free. The facilities are clean. Kids love the playground and tent camping. The camp ground is located just a short drive (3 min) away from the Shawnee Ski resort, so super convenient during Ski season. Will definitely come back and highly recommend to all.

This was the first place we went when we bought our camper. The friendship we felt when we walk into the office was amazing. We were given a site that was absolutely beautiful as recommended by the owner Elisa. She was spot on! We decided to come back and due to some eye surgeries going on I had to cancel my reservation for Oct. 14. Elisa was so gracious and her calm voice helped make my reservation painless. Now on to eye surgery knowing I don't have to worry about whether my reservation was cancelled or not. Thank You Elisa for making my day, my week and experience delightful. Keep up the great work! Hugs, Nancy Rice/Bath, Pa
