Had a nice and quiet, three week stay here. This park is older but well maintained with even the standard spots being of fairly nice size and level. There are train tracks in the back where we were staying, but it didn't really bother us. There laundry room is small, but packed with a lot of washer and dryers that are kept clean. Staff were very friendly and we took advantage of their pizza delivery twice.

Super nice owner and staff, very clean and well organized. Next to I-70 convenient, but also makes for some traffic noise. We slept well though, and would definitely stay again. Great little restaurant next door.

We came to Denver to visit family and stayed at this KOA. The location was great—peaceful, surrounded by trees and wildlife, yet still close enough to the city. The park itself was very quiet. Since we visited after the summer season, there weren’t many activities happening in the park, but it was still enjoyable. The laundry room was clean and reasonably priced—$2 per wash and 25 cents for every 8 minutes on the dryer. Just make sure to bring your own quarters. A train track runs right next to the park, and while a few trains pass by during the day, we didn’t hear any at night. Jim, the staff member we worked with, was wonderful and very helpful. A big plus was that they deliver Hunt’s Brothers Pizza right to your site while the office is open. After a long day of driving, it was a real treat to have that on our first night. The campsites are fairly close together, but our neighbors were quiet, so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend this KOA, whether you’re traveling with family or solo. It’s about a 30-minute drive to Aurora.

This was such a nice surprise. Well maintained park & facilities, easy to navigate, helpful staff and nice spacious lots made for a great stay. Far enough away from the city but close enough to enjoy it. Yummy little diner & Bar combo across the street. We felt at home here for our 3 night stay. Wide smooth roads were great too!

We really enjoy ourselves this weekend. Especially eating barbecue at the place. The cabin. It was excellent for my parents. Especially that they're senior citizens. My daughter and I and the wife enjoy ourselves. We highly recommend staying here. Maybe you're coming from out of state or even locals. The staff was top notch

This is a great RV park. The staff are friendly and helpful. They make pizzas that can be ordered and taken to your site they will deliver. There are also 2 restaurants within walking distance. The dog park is clean, easily accessible and has agility equipment to keep your furry friend active. Sites are good sized and include a picnic table. There is a meeting room available for groups.

Decent KOA, but there is nothing in the area to do. I realize the time of year it is (early April) but as far as things to do, you have to drive to Denver, which is 30 plus miles and that has terrible jams. But a lot to there like Coors beer factory tours [reservations required], museums etc. Just nothing at this KOA. One restaurant serves traditional food and 2 Mexican food. That’s it! So beware.

Friendly staff over the phone. Checked in after hours. Watched what appeared to be a drug deal happen next to the trailer behind the building after dark. A truck pulled in and stopped next to a resident or customer standing there. They interacted for no more than 15 seconds, and the truck drove off. The person walked off quickly toward the sites to the north of the campground. Maybe wasn't drugs, but that's the interaction I saw which is not normal for a campground around 715pm or so.

I recently stayed at the Denver East / Strasburg KOA Holiday as a solo traveler, and I couldn't be more impressed! I booked one of the lodges, and from the moment I arrived, everything was spotless. The cleanliness of the lodge was exceptional—it felt like a cozy, well-maintained retreat. The linens were fresh, the bathroom was immaculate, and the entire space was so inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my solo trip feel a lot less lonely. They went above and beyond to answer my questions and made sure I had everything I needed. Whether it was a recommendation for local attractions or just a friendly chat, they were always approachable and open-hearted. The overall vibe of the campground was fantastic—quiet, peaceful, and very well-kept. I loved the sense of community while still having my own private space to relax. If you're traveling solo (or with others!) and value cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere, this KOA is an absolute gem. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in the area!

This KOA is conveniently located just a short drive from Denver. The people here are super nice and accommodating and help you with everything you need. It’s easy to get a 42’ camper and dually in and out which is always the most important thing to me. The spots are gravel but they’re sufficiently level to not have trouble setting up. Aside from that, there’s a grocery store, Tractor Supply, and gas station less than 15 minutes away if you don’t feel like driving into the city. Overall, good place to stay and I’d go back!
