All in all it was a very nice place. We only stayed here for one night. Lots of police sirens and a very nasty tenant were the only draw backs. The tenant in site 87 came over to me as we were packing up noticed that I had a dog in tow. She took it upon herself to not so politely tell me where the dog park was and that she didn’t want to find dog poop out here. 😳🙄 I was literally out side our camper for maybe two minutes before she came up to me. There was no “good morning” no “how are you” just nastiness from the get go, then turned her back on me and walked off. Maybe she had a rough night or morning, who knows, or maybe she’s just a nasty person. To the owners that own this particular KOA ……please get her In check as she might adversely affect your business. This is making me question if we ever want to go back to this place. Like I said, very nice place, clean and well kept up! Oh and the dog park!!!!! Yes, the dog park was very nice and very large and we used it 😁 cleaning up after ourselves of course. Nasty people will definitely destroy a business and I would not so politely remind this woman that you are there for your customers and an attitude such as hers to a paying customer is not acceptable!

This is a fairly new campground. The pull through sites were level and long enough for our 45ft motorhome towing. There is a huge dog park adjacent to the rv park. My only criticism is the sign telling you where to turn is much too small! GPS will have you turning into a soccer park. I'm not sure if there is room to turn around if you turn there. The way we came in the rv park is after the soccer park. There's a water park on the other side of the turn

I echo others reviews, hard to find. Like the overly large municipal dog park on site. Hated the side by side, ATV and truck traffic on a trail overlooking the park. One even came into the campground, at night. That said, park is clean and well kept with large, level sites. The location (other than the traffic mentioned) is great and close to everything there is to see here. We enjoyed our stay.

The campground is fairly new, clean and close to attractions, but the WiFi did not work the entire time we were there (3 days). I spoke to the desk clerk on our first morning about it and she just said “sorry”. It was the main reason we chose that particular campground, so it was really frustrating. Another thing I didn’t like, is that the shower rooms were totally unsecured and open to anyone 24 hours a day. No lock or code…they left the doors propped open at all times. And the shower stalls were just like bathroom stall doors. I did not use them. Lastly, we wanted to get a bag of ice and they didn’t have any. I realize we were there at the end of the season, but the store didn’t have anything.

Very clean with large paved pull through sites. One of the cleanest and we'll maintained KOA we have stayed at. Only negative is it is very difficult to find. Right in the center of town but also in the center of a municipal park. No signs in the park to direct you and Maps was all confused. Enjoyed our stay.

It is a nice park with a huge K9 area. However, the rudeness of the desk clerk overshadowed anything good about this park. We will never stay here again. Besides having her child at work and speaking about me in a foreign language, she didn't tell me how to get to our spot. She did not point out any of the amenities. She just slapped a map at me. This was all due to our original space having low water pressure and she didn't want to move us to another because we were staying 2 nights and it would mess up their bookings. Wrong. We were only there for one night. So I asked about a discount if we took the low pressure site. That really ticked her off. There were at least 2 vacant spots that night so they weren't "full" as she stated. I have never been treated so poorly by a KOA employee.

It is near a park and soccer fields. There is a dirt track nearby from what it sounded like. Kinda noisy but quieted down after dark.

One night here. Have stayed at koa across the country. This by far was our worst experience. If you are a tent camper? May as well sleep in you car at a Walmart, it’s the very same experience. The noise alone of cars and dogs barking will drive you right out of here. The city itself was extremely disappointing. As far as a shower? Better get to them before all the construction workers get back from their day at work. Showers are nasty. Flooded floors. Shame on KoA for selling a franchise to whoever owns this place👀.

Only here for one night . Needed to do laundry however only one washer and dryer working and were taken . Park is very basic. Not many amenities . Adjacent to a city park . Sitting outside watching many people drive in a do the loop and drive out . This was after a soccer game . Also the bathrooms do not have a code so being so close to the park not wanting to shower or use the facilities in case people come from outside the park . Went to shower . The shower floors were soaked and scummy . The one shower that look partially clean I could lock the door . I tested the water temperature and it was like warm. Thought I would go shower in the morning But they don’t clean until 11 . Needless to say wasn’t impressed

This is a well designed and maintained campground close to many Dodge City attractions like Boot Hill. There have planted trees, but they have yet mature enough to offer much shade. The bathrooms are modern but institutional, and the showers lack obvious water temperature controls - I was a bit chilly in the lukewarm water I got, and a half hour later my wife felt like she was on the verge of being scalded when she showered. All of the campground and the main building were clean. The laundry room was nice and we had no problems with any of the machines, but be sure to bring quarters for them. There were some minor drainage issues on the roads and near the building when a torrential downpour hit, but the gravel pad of our site drained well. An active railroad track ran just behind our site, but only one train passed by overnight. Wifi was available only at the building during our brief stay, and the second bathhouse was unavailable.
