We had an amazing time during our ride this past weekend. You can tell these people truly love their horses and treat them like their own kids. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and apart of the “Farmily”. Courtney was a great guide! We were lucky enough to be the last ride of the day and got to help desaddle our horses! Dave & Rocky are the kind of people you want to give your business to! We cannot wait to come back.

I was lucky when I called to book for a trail ride the following day! (Be sure to plan ahead if you have a bigger group!) Rocky and Dave are both so wonderful, and you can tell by how spirited and happy their horses all are. Our guide was so much fun, and I could tell the little girls at the front were having a blast! Learn the origin story of some of the horses, there's some fun ones! I also felt lucky to get to ride the horse named Morgan. She was fun and sassy, kept wanting to sneak snacking on the trail (we were told to not let them do this) and definitely wanted to race ahead whenever we were trotting. It was a fun and more active ride than I was expecting -but secretly hoped for-. The land was so gorgeous, and the trail made for a really easy-going ride, and it's so much fun to just let the horses do what they know best and watch them as it is to see the dense forest! I'm definitely planning on coming back to use their campgrounds. I wish I lived closer!

We did a hour trail ride with them, and it was amazing. The owner and his wife were great. They explained everything introduced us to our trail guide and were there to help all the way until we rode off. Our trail guide was great too. The trail itself is beautiful. When you get to the turn around point you wish you could keep going. If we had more time in Kentucky we would visit them again. We will definitely come back next time we come. Highly recommend them for new or experienced riders. Queenie is one of the biggest horses I've seen and of course they put me on her lol. She was great though. So was Morgan that my wife rode.

A great experience! The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, the horses are definitely well taken care of, and the stable and trails were beautiful. It was a fun and relaxing time, great for riders of all experiences. We got there a little early before our trail ride and they let us spend time with the horses in the stable before taking off. Definitely recommend!

Ranch owners Dave and Rocky will treat you like family upon your arrival, so we encourage you to prepare to fall completely in love with your entire adventure at the stables! This is not a tourist trap experience, but just like you walked out your backdoor onto a working farm. The horses are loved, given ample rest periods between rides, and groups are kept small for a personalized experience. After your ride you can enjoy a walk around the stalls and greet the horses as they munch on their mounds of hay. Each horse has such a distinct personality, but all are delicate and docile, making your experience inside and outside of the barn safe and enjoyable. If horses make you anxious, don’t fret, as Dave and Rocky have successfully won over even the most terrified of riders to secure them safely on a horse that fits their personality, and by the time the trail ride is over, they are bonded with their horse and ready for a second round! You will have an overall fantastic experience and enjoy the wonderful guides that take you through the trails of Mammoth Cave National Park. Bring your own horses and set up your RV, or if you don't have your own horses, stay in the Bunk House and take a guided ride, or come for the day and enjoy a guided horseback ride. We can't wait to see you there!

My friend and I came here as part of our college graduation camping trip to Mammoth Cave. We booked a one hour horse ride and Courtney was our guide. As soon as we pulled up to the barn, both she and Rocky greeted us so kindly and told us we could do a longer ride if we wanted to since another group failed to show. They explained everything very nicely and made it a super easy process. The horses very obviously are loved and enjoy doing their jobs, and the ranch is so beautiful and well maintained. The ride was so much fun, Courtney was very funny and energetic making fun conversation and talking about the horses during our ride. When we got back to the stables they offered to take graduation pictures for us with the horses and we hung out to brush a horse named June! When we left we both decided that if we ever get the opportunity to come back we will absolutely camp and ride horses here again. Thank you so much for being part of our trip, we had the best time!

As a Cubmaster, this location is perfect for a Scouting weekend adventure. It has easy access to hiking (Mammoth Cave Trails) and fishing (Lake Nolin). It has excellent grounds with indoor rest facilities, electrical access, and potable water. Finally, it has a great staff! The owners are accessible, upfront, and accommodating, the guides are kid friendly, and the horses are well trained. It's the whole package!

We had an exceptional 1.5 hour trail ride into Mammoth Cave National Park. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with true southern hospitality. They even showed us their campground and let us greet every single horse in their stalls. We were appropriately matched to our horses with 2 kids and 2 adults, each horse was selected perfectly. We especially appreciated the step to mount the horses. The trail was wide, beautiful, and even crossed a little running stream. Excellent guide, I believe Courtney was her name. And owners Dave and Rocky felt like old friends. Very well cared for horses and truly a joy to support their business.

We had a great 3 hour ride through the mammoth cave national forest! Our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable of the area. The whole crew was warm and welcoming on the cold day we went riding. The horses are very well trained and even my husband who is new to riding had a smooth ride. I highly recommend and we will visit again!

We had a great trail ride. Owners Dave and Rocky run a first class operation. Trail guides Jack and Sara did an excellent job with a bunch of greenhorns.
