Downtown Riverside RV Park

Overview

Downtown Riverside RV Park offers a unique camping experience directly on the banks of the Arkansas River. Unlike secluded wooded retreats, this park provides an urban atmosphere with a front-row seat to the Little Rock skyline. Managed by the City of North Little Rock, the park serves as a gateway to the region’s cultural heart, offering travelers a clean and well-maintained home base. The site is famous for its sunset views over the water, where the city lights reflect beautifully off the river each evening.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in the heart of the metro area, the park is physically connected to the Arkansas River Trail, a sprawling loop popular for cycling and walking. It sits right next to the historic Junction Bridge, a pedestrian-only crossing that leads directly into downtown Little Rock. The surrounding area includes the vibrant Argenta Arts District, known for its local breweries and renovated historic buildings. This prime location allows visitors to leave their tow vehicle behind and explore much of the city on foot.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed for convenience and ease of use, featuring level concrete pads that accommodate even the largest rigs. Every site is equipped with full hookups, including 30 and 50-amp electricity, water, and sewer. Key features include:

  • Gated security with coded entry for peace of mind.
  • Clean bathhouses and on-site laundry facilities.
  • A clubhouse for guest use and community gatherings.

While the layout is paved to maximize the view, it remains a highly functional space for travelers prioritizing utility.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Staying here puts you within minutes of the Clinton Presidential Library and the bustling River Market District. Nearby highlights include:

  • The Simmons Bank Arena for concerts and sports.
  • The Rock Region METRO Streetcar for city transit.
  • The USS Razorback at the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum.

Nature lovers can also follow the river trail to visit the Big Dam Bridge.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for urban explorers and travelers who want to be in the center of the action. It is a top choice for those attending concerts, sporting events, or festivals in the downtown area. Because of its paved, big-rig friendly design, it appeals to motorhome owners who prefer a clean, mud-free environment with easy navigation. If your travel style favors skyline views and city convenience over remote forest solitude, this location provides the perfect balance of comfort and accessibility.

Really nice riverfront rv park. They have a little bathhouse, laundry facilities, a community picnic shelter, and a gated entrance. Little Rock has a superb Riverfront walk area. There was a bit of traffic noise as you might expect, but overall it was a nice stay.

What a fantastic place! Came for the LR marathon and so pleased with the RV Park. Perfect location right on the river, beautiful views of the city and night lights, easy walk into town for restaurants. The lots were perfect, the bath houses immaculate. I would highly recommend!

This park is located on the river, has lots of large spots for a RV and a decent yard. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have bath houses and laundry facilities. The park is attached to the walking/biking trail trough downtown Little Rock. They have a dog park if you bring your furry family, and did I mention how nice the folks are that run this park? This was a great find for staying around Little Rock. I'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience.

Nice RV park with full hookups and a dump station. Only one entrance/exit that can be tricky to get into if you have a big rig. Nice walking trails close by. Restaurants, fuel and shopping close by. Pull thru and back in sites are all very spacious. Only one vehicle allowed per site. Restrooms and laundry room were clean and well maintained. Wifi was good with only a few people there.

We had an fantastic two-week stay at Downtown Riverside RV, and honestly, it was an all-around great experience. The location is perfect — right in the heart of town, making it super easy to explore the area and enjoy everything it has to offer. The facilities are top-notch; the bathrooms and laundry area were always spotless, modern, and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. It’s nice to find a place that keeps everything clean and up to date, especially during such a long visit. The staff in the office were some of the friendliest and most helpful people we’ve encountered at a campground. They greeted us with big smiles and went out of their way to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. And if you’re a dog owner, you’re in luck — they really love dogs here! It’s clear they’re animal lovers, and they made us feel very welcome along with our furry friend. The security was also great — I honestly felt safe during our entire stay. While the area feels like it’s not in the absolute nicest part of town, I never had any concerns, thanks to the good security and the friendly atmosphere. Plus, it was easy to get to anywhere in the Little Rock area from here, which made our adventures simple and convenient. Overall, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The location, cleanliness, friendly staff, and dog-friendly attitude made our stay memorable and stress-free. If you’re looking for a comfortable, friendly, and convenient place to stay in Riverside, I highly recommend Downtown Riverside RV. We will definitely be back!

Needed an overnight and this was easy and convenient (the park sent directions to make it easy to get to!). Wish we’d had a riverfront or pull through but still a nice park. We didn’t have to unhook our tow vehicle, great level sites and easy hookups, nice grassy areas to walk and good dog park (although found some broken glass in there). Loved the pedestrian bridge access directly in RV park that takes you right over to the Clinton Presidential Library - wish we’d gotten here earlier to visit it! Great stay and highly recommend.

Location is fabulous. Wonderful views of downtown Little Rock. Walking bridge will take you directly downtown. Bath houses are nice and they have laundry and ice onsight. Will definitely be back.

We are a full time traveling family with kids and have been to 40+ RV parks across the USA. We stayed here for 2 weeks. I give this park 3 stars but sadly that has more to do with its location and surrounding area than with how the park is run. What I liked: - gated on all sides - beautiful view of the river, bridge, city and sunset - level, clean sites with well arranged hookups - the whole park is clean and tidy - bathrooms and laundry room very clean and in great shape - I loved that I can buy quarters for the laundry with my credit card on file - other campers and residents were respectful and kind - walking or biking distance to downtown - overall a quiet park but we did hear a lot of ambulance sirens daily I want to say about every other hour - we felt safe in the park but questionable in the area around it - great coffee shops across the river and city park with walking paths The things I didn’t like: - the park is small and sort of looks like a parking lot for RVs. While the view of the river is beautiful it is very much concrete and gravel. I think it’s great for a short stay. - the area surrounding the campground is where a lot of homeless people hang out. We would see them sleep right outside the gate sadly. - the businesses on the north side of the river close to the park are sketchy and heavily surrounded by a lot of homeless - sadly the area also is very littered however I did see city crew cleaning up one of the days Overall our stay was pleasant, safe and I would recommend this RV park for a short stay or a night stop. Within the park everything was great and as it should be and if the surrounding area continues to improve this would be a great place to stay while visiting the city because the location is great for walking and biking.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Downtown Riverside RV Park. Our site, 20, was a very long and level cement pad full hookup pull through with 50 amp. Back in sites also available. Amenities include free wifi, a large pavilion, shower/restroom facilities, a keypad coded laundry room/club house combo, and a gated dog park. Right on the river, the park has a beautiful view of the Clinton Bridge which is a great place to walk, run, or bike. It is also lit up at night (very pretty!) Downtown Riverside is a must-visit park with lots to do close by in Little Rock.

Nice area. Sites are level, and either gravel or concrete, with a good number of back-in sites and pull-throughs. Quiet park itself. There is a pedestrian bridge on one side and a road bridge close on the other, so sometimes you heard sirens or traffic. Not enough to worry about though. I would stay here again.
