Our experience camping here has been a joy. The camp ground is beautifully maintained with plenty of amenities for a family fun, dog friendly environment. They have a beautiful beach, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, and playground. It is very family friendly and everyone around during our stay was kind, respectful, and enjoying family fun. I strongly recommend camping here if you have little ones, or simply like camping, being up north, exploring surrounding areas and enjoying time at the campsite. There are plenty of surrounding areas to explore, we enjoyed coffee at The Iron Goat coffee shop, and breakfast at The South Arm Cafe in East Jordan. If you prefer to make your own meals the campsites have full RV hookups, and great bonfire pits if you like to cook over the camp fire. The bathrooms were clean and accessible. The sunset is beautiful from the beach, on a clear night the stars are amazing, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. If we have the opportunity we will most definitely visit this campground again!

Excellent value and a great location for beaches, hiking, festivals, and a quiet up north vacation. The sites are immaculately clean and dead level but very close to each other and almost entirely shade-free. Once the new trees grow in, it will be excellent.

Even in the winter, it's beautiful here! I loved seeing all of the art pieces, and their position along the water and walking path is perfect.

Good place for swimming with kids. Roped off swimming area with sandy beach (no rocks). Not too deep. Warmer water than lake Michigan. A little busy in the summer with all the campers, but very sweet and beautiful.

Beautiful Campground. Full camper hookup, picnic table and fireplace at each site showers and bathrooms, sandy beach, pavilion, horseshoe pits, beach volleyball, and more! Didn't get photos of the beach but did at the boat docks in the early morning.

We had our 47th class reunion in the gazebo. I highly recommend it for gatherings. It's right by the lake. You need to sign up for it's use, but there's no charge.

Great place to camp! Ample shade on most lots, fairly level. It is perfectly located close Boyne City and Charlevoix to give you some places to visit. The campground is well maintained, has full hook up, and are spacious. We've been making trips to this campground for years and have never had a bad experience. There is a really nice playground for kids, and a fantastic beach on lake Charlevoix. Accessible boat launches and slips right at the campground. Reasonably priced and also close enough to Mackinac City and the Mackinaw Bridge that you can easily plans a day trip to the UP. Can't wait to go back and camp again.
