This is perfect location for our group with 3 RV’s! Awesome place to camp and easy access to their private docks to the KENAI River with exceptional fishing! Friendly staff and the facility offers restrooms w/ Showers, laundry area, full hookups and they have a fish cleaning station with running water down on the river 😎. Definitely recommended!

Campsite was great and fishing was too. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. The staff was super helpful, even letting us get some last minute things when they were closed up. I highly suggest coming here if you plan on fishing in a friendly environment, or just need a place to crash for a few nights. Thank you all! It was a great experience.

After spending 90 glorious days in Alaska at RV campgrounds across Alaska my experience at Edgewater was really bad. 5 reasons not to stay at this site. 1) the office manager is a crook and dishonest. He charged me too much and even though he has told me I will get the overpaid amount back he is not refunding any money and now has blocked my calls 2) one entire row of campsites is literally feet from a very busy intersection and we heard exhaust breaks and motors all night long 3) row 3 of campsites is right next to the sewage dump and smells horrific 4) since the new bridge has been built fishing at this location is sub par 5) all the sites are crammed way to close together. Kenai fishing is amazing, but edgewater would be my absolute last choice of campgrounds to choose from. There are so many better places to stay and fish.

We love this place. It's not fancy. It is in Soldotna and there is road noise and bustle. It is clean and friendly, the sites have ok space between them, and a big dog park is 10 minutes away. Next to the property on the same lot as Alaskan Tackle, in a drive thru red shed, is Smokehouse BBQ. It is a WOW! Edgewater is right on the river with private fishing access. You will need waders or hip boots. If you know what you are doing (flossing), you will catch your limit. This is a definite next time we are in Soldotna.

Poor planning on my end resulted in us without a campground space. Edgewater accommodated us during their busiest season. Facility was organized, clean and quiet. They were extremely friendly. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Amazing. Beautiful park! We had a mishap at another local RV park and decided to leave the other park. We didn’t have anywhere to go, and on a busy week, this park was able to accommodate!!! Super friendly and lovely staff. This is known as a fish camp and zero noise at night. This RV park is a hidden gem right in the middle of Soldotna, right on the Kenai River. Another plus is the dog groomer right next door! Perfect!

We rented a RV spot here over the weekend to do some salmon fishing. The resort has direct access to the river and a nice fillet station with running water. The spot was clean, sparse grave, lots of grass. Plenty of room to park our 30ft travel trailer and set up a rug and seating area. You can rent a fire pit ( they were all out when we asked). They have clean bathrooms and showers (pay to use). All and all it was a great trip.

Great RV park! Close to everything, fishing off the river, laundry facilities were good prices and 4 of each machine. Would definitely stay again.

This is a very dated park. The website didn’t tell you that the water/electric sites back up to the road, which I guess isn’t the parks fault, but would have been good to know. You also find out when you check in that showers are not free, which I’m finding is quite common at many RV parks. Not spendy at $1.50 for 6 minutes. But those are dated as well and not well cleaned. I don’t think the spider webs have been cleared in months, the glazing over the windows appears to be scraped off in convenient locations for a peeping Tom to look through. And the old Coke vending machine doesn’t really hide where the glazing is scratched off. And the garbage hadn’t been emptied in the two days we were there. The washer/dryers I swear are 40 years old, but they do work and at $4/load its cheap enough. On the plus side, it is a fairly convenient location.

We atayed at Edgewater at the end of July 2022. We stayed in site number 4 which was a nice grassy site sandwiched in between the owners and the hosts rv's. Site was nice. Level. Grassy. Best of all the owner and the host (Rex and his wife) were some of the nicest people we have met so far in Alaska. They shared fishing advice, gave us some fishing tackle that we needed, and even gave us some salmon steaks they had caught since we missed the sockeye run. While the park was full and hopping, we could not have asked for a better park. Wished were still there rather than down the road at a more prices park. If you are a fisherman this park has it all.
