Beautiful location, and expert accommodations! We didn’t have a spot that had a fire pit but they brought us a fire pit so we could make dinner! If I could give more than five stars I would! Would recommend to anyone! Will be back again!

Both camp hosts were helpful and friendly. Beautiful scenery around a quiet campground. Bath houses very clean! Laundry area very clean! B5 was a beautiful large site. Walk to Valley of the Moon fishing area under 2 miles. A small park with walking trails about 1/4 mile away. We would have stayed longer. Unfortunately, in June, the campground was found to have E. coli in their water system, so they put in a temporary chlorine fix. when we were camping in the end of July, the water was deemed over chlorinated and still not fit to drink or wash dishes with. The campground did provide fresh drinking water. The negative was that the campground management did not notify me of this until the morning of our arrival. I was notified by phone and by email, that their water system was still under a health advisory.. as all of this began in June and was reevaluated at the end of June, it would’ve been nice to have been notified about this in time to make alternate reservations if that’s what we decided to do.

Wow! Ekstrom's is an awesome campground and the tiny house a hidden gem. I stayed in the tiny house for two weeks, and it was a dream personal retreat The tiny house is brand new, clean, and extremely well made. The employees are kind and fun to be around. The natural environment is amazing, with Creek access for a long walk and a quick 20 min drive to downtown Missoula. It's the best of all worlds and I can't wait to return again soon. Thank you Peter, Ellis, Pat, and Georgia!

This is my new favorite campground. The Camp host Pat is a gem himself. It’s nice to see people truly happy and social. His hospitality and kindness was greatly appreciated. As far as the campground it’s so clean and beautiful! The showers are such a huge perk. We ended up in b14 and Wow. Beautiful huge site with the creek and sunsetting right behind the mountains behind us. we’re super close to the bathrooms without having the commotion that typically comes with being by a bathroom. This is one of the quietest most peaceful campgrounds I’ve been at. I will definitely be coming back.

The campground is absolutely STUNNING. The campground is absolutely peaceful, well taken care of and it has a very modern/western vibe. It has really clean showers, bathrooms and even a laundry room. But what really made this campground one of the best I have ever been to is the camp host Pat. Pat is an extremely bubbly, knowledgeable camp host. He gave us tips and tricks to navigating the area and walked us to our campsite. Campground 10/10 Views 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Camp host pat 100000/10

Ekstrom’s Campground is a good spot. Nothing fancy, but close to Missoula and conveniently off I-90, secluded and quiet. A pretty place to park the RV for a while. I was just reminded of our time camping at Ekstrom’s as I flipped through last summer’s photos and thought I’d leave a quick review about this hidden gem. Maybe see you in June! ~ Peg

Beautiful quiet place! We had the whole park to ourselves! They are going through a change of ownership and some changes right now, leaving the restaurant closed. I wanted to stay longer since it's closer to my family from where we currently are but with the rate, we could pay for 3 months vs one month...maybe that's why we were pretty much the only one's. There were 2 over nighters and tent campers..It's a beautiful quiet spot and great for those fishing rock creek! The spots are a bit tight but doable..

Our Andersen bus tour stopped here for lunch. They prepared a buffet for us which was excellent. Everything was homemade. The two dessert salads reminded me of my mom. 50 people were seated and had a delicious meal efficiently and without a hitch.

Such a hidden gem off of I 90. Love the country feel and hospitality. Amazing huckleberry pancakes! Our waitress even gave our daughters some oatmeal to feed their goat behind the school house! Can’t wait to come back on our next adventure!

The salad bar is old school. The food is outstanding. The beef is always great but for a change, try the smoked pork chop. It has great flavor and something I haven't seen in other places. Well worth the visit!
