Nice place. Bounce pillow for kids, inflatables in pond, small water slide, activities for kids. Dog park, movie screen, putt putt, bike/cart rentals, ice cream, pizza (some seasonal). Lots of fish to be caught. Full hookups available, clean bathrooms. Owner Jimmy is really nice, as is Ed. Friendly place. One car per site, extra parking for fee.

Very friendly koa with many activities. Sites are close together but they at least make people use the overflow parking so you can still pass through the campground. Only down side is that there is one pump out and it blocks the incoming gate. And then to leave you need to back up to get through the out gate. Then need to move the gate back to the stop sign or invest in a better pump out.

Avoid this KOA at all costs – bed bugs and dishonest management. Our stay at the Emmett KOA was a nightmare. The cabin we rented was infested with bed bugs. When we brought it up, the owner flat-out lied and told us they hadn’t had bed bugs in “over 13 years.” That was absolutely false. There are multiple reviews on here already citing bed bug issues, and staff members themselves admitted to us that it has been an ongoing problem. Even the pest control company they claimed to use confirmed they’ve been battling bed bugs here. Instead of taking responsibility, management hid behind their ridiculous 14-day cancellation policy and refused to refund our second night (which we didn’t stay for obvious reasons). Their “solution” was insulting: a 20% discount for a future stay (as if anyone would want to come back!) and a handful of quarters so we could attempt to kill the bugs in our belongings using their dryer. The dishonesty from Toni and her father is appalling. Any business that knowingly lies to its customers about a health and cleanliness issue this serious has no integrity. Bed bugs are not a minor inconvenience – they spread, they infest, and they follow you home. We left disgusted and disappointed, and I strongly recommend avoiding this campground if you value your health, honesty, or basic respect as a paying customer.

What a great surprise weekend vacation!!! 🎉 We had so much fun the kids and I there was so much to do from water to fishing to playground to GaGa ball and even mining ⛏️. The weekend went by too fast but staff was amazing. Everyone around the cabin was so nice too. Are cabin was very clean and maintained. We will definitely be back. Definitely bringing the rest of the family back.

We have been staying at this KOA for 3 years now. We are always pleased with the cabins. The campground is a good size when you have children or you just want everything in easy walking distance. Large enough to go for walks but not huge. The grounds are well maintained and there is just the right amount of things to do. The lake is always fun. The service in the office is always great! They even prepared a surprise gift from my husband to me for when I arrived, thanks Katie! Went above and beyond.

We've been here a few times and while the grounds are nice and they're doing a lot of improvements, the manager is a jerk. I get there are rules, but we bought a shovel from the store and it broke like an hour later. I took it back the following morning (so we'd owned the shovel for maybe 10 hours, and it was mostly broken during that time), and the manager told me all sales were final. Seems like they could have just replaced the shovel...it was $4. But she has a snarky attitude and looked at me like I was a jerk. It is close to our house which makes it a nice first weekend of the season spot, but I really don't want to deal with her.

This KOA was excellent for the kids. Numerous things for them to do which included a large pond for swimming with tube bounce. The hosts and staff were pleasant and the grounds were well used. The shower/store were clean and the bathrooms were clean but needed a cobweb cleaning. I stayed during the week so it was very quiet. Also, they looked to be preparing for Halloween, again great for kids

Stayed the weekend of August 9-12 2024. First time. Friday was a little rowdy due to a corporate event being held onsite. But some families who were somewhat regulars there informed me that it wasn't typical of this campground. The staff is plentiful and do a great job of keeping the campground clean and maintained and trash is picked up often There are activities planned all day everyday for the kids as well as some for the adults. They send text updates throughout the day reminding visitors of the scheduled events and opportunities. My family of 5 will most definitely be back soon.

I have been camping my whole life and never knew of this place, which is crazy being we live so close. It is now our new favorite quick get away. Upon arrival and checking in, someone escorts you to your campsite and they helped guide us back in between trees. The facilities were very clean. The lake was beautiful, warm and didn’t have that dirty smell or yucky feeling when you get out. My kids loved the floating obstacle course and slide. They had night time activities like movies under the stars and a dance party. Ice cream parlor, pizza, store, etc. it is also on the smaller side, but we liked that. We felt very safe letting our kids bike alone, this was actually the first campground we let our kids do that. The owners were very kind and professional and you could tell they enjoyed what they have created. Hoping to get in for a Halloween camp, but if not we will definitely be back next year and every year after!

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms, instantly feeling like part of the Emmett KOA family. The staff's genuine warmth and eagerness to assist made me feel right at home. It was evident that they were committed to ensuring every guest's comfort and satisfaction. The amenities provided were nothing short of excellent. The campground boasted an array of facilities designed to cater to every need. However, what truly impressed me were the spotless bathrooms. Maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, they provided a sanctuary of comfort and hygiene. Even during peak hours, I never once encountered a shortage of hot water—an absolute luxury when camping under the starlit skies. What truly sets Emmett KOA apart is their unwavering commitment to going above and beyond for their guests. Whether it's organizing engaging activities or providing insider tips on exploring the local area, the staff's dedication to ensuring a memorable stay is truly commendable. Their passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on visitors like myself. For a home away from home experience surrounded by nature's wonders, Emmett KOA is unbeatable.
