Entiat City Park
Overview
Entiat City Park serves as a premier gateway to the recreational wonders of North Central Washington. Nestled on the banks of the Columbia River, this municipal park offers a clean, modern camping experience that caters to travelers looking for both relaxation and outdoor adventure. The park has undergone significant upgrades, resulting in paved RV sites and beautifully landscaped grounds that provide a professional, manicured feel within a scenic community setting.
Location & Surroundings
The park is situated in the town of Entiat, conveniently located halfway between the bustling hubs of Wenatchee and Lake Chelan. Its position along the reservoir, often referred to as Lake Entiat, provides stunning views of the surrounding basalt cliffs and the shimmering river. This central location makes it an ideal base camp for exploring Chelan County, where the high desert meets the foothills of the Cascade Range.
Amenities & Park Features
RVers will find well-appointed accommodations including full-hookup sites equipped with water, sewer, and 50-amp electrical service. Each site features a level paved pad, a fire ring, and a picnic table for comfortable outdoor living. The park includes modern restroom and shower facilities, a dump station, and a large playground. For water enthusiasts, the high-quality boat launch and designated swimming area offer direct access to the river's diverse recreational opportunities.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Beyond the park boundaries, the area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Boating, water skiing, and salmon fishing are primary draws for those staying on the water. A paved multi-use trail runs along the river, perfect for morning walks or bike rides. A short drive north leads to the world-class wineries and alpine waters of Lake Chelan, while a drive south offers the Pybus Public Market and dining amenities of the Wenatchee Valley.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an excellent choice for family vacationers who appreciate organized amenities and safe, accessible play areas for children. It is also highly recommended for boaters and anglers who want immediate access to the Columbia River. Its ease of access from Highway 97A makes it a reliable stop for big-rig owners seeking a high-quality, scenic stay without the ruggedness of more primitive forest camps.

Very pleasant new campground along the lake. Sites are reasonably spaced. There is a paved path where kids can ride bikes without the danger of cars. Biggest negative: the showers are gross. The floors are sloped wrong so that the changing area is always under water and moldy.

It's a very beautiful place. The air is fresh, the sun is shining, the river water is clear, the fish in the river are swimming happily, and the birds are flying in the sky. It's a beautiful picture!

An accident that turned out to be one of the best decisions that we have made. We typically camp in Chelan at one of the parks, but we're just a little bit lazy this year and did not make reservations. And he at City Park became the option and truly one of the best decisions we have made. This incredibly large and very well maintained camping area along the Antioch River next to the sand spit is so incredibly well maintained and instead of walking through dirt, we walk on grass from our level campsites. Wherever you go to these unbelievably clean bathrooms and covered areas for barbecues and gatherings. I will post more on this place. Thanks, but in the meantime, incredible views. Great people. Wonderful atmosphere. This is a definite stop for Annie camper in the chelanie area
