Enumclaw Expo Center RV Campground

Overview

The Enumclaw Expo Center RV Campground serves as a versatile gateway to the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic landscapes. Situated on the expansive grounds of the Enumclaw Expo Center, this facility offers a mix of convenience and scenic beauty. While it frequently hosts major events like the King County Fair, the campground remains a steady favorite for travelers seeking a reliable place to park while exploring the Cascade Range. The atmosphere is generally open and airy, providing a peaceful retreat between the city and the mountains.

Location & Surroundings

The park is nestled in the charming town of Enumclaw, often called the Gateway to Mt. Rainier. Visitors will find themselves surrounded by pastoral farmlands and sweeping views of the surrounding foothills. The location is strategically placed away from the heavy congestion of Seattle and Tacoma, yet close enough for a day trip. Its position on the Enumclaw plateau ensures that campers enjoy a temperate climate and easy access to local amenities like grocery stores and local diners just a few minutes away.

Amenities & Park Features

This campground prioritizes functionality and space. It offers sites equipped with water and electrical hookups, supporting both 30 and 50-amp service. While there are no individual sewer hookups at the sites, a convenient dump station is located on the premises for guest use. The facility includes clean restrooms and hot showers, making it a comfortable choice for those in smaller rigs or vans. Many sites are quite spacious, allowing for easy maneuvering of larger motorhomes and fifth-wheels on both paved and gravel surfaces.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure is just a short drive away, as the park is a prime starting point for visiting Mount Rainier National Park. Hikers and photographers often use the campground as a base to reach the Sunrise Visitor Center or the Crystal Mountain Resort. For those staying closer to home, the Mud Mountain Dam Recreation Area offers excellent trails and picnic spots. Additionally, the downtown area of Enumclaw provides a delightful mix of antique shops, boutique stores, and local breweries that capture the spirit of Washington’s small-town charm.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal fit for outdoor enthusiasts who want quick access to mountain trails without sacrificing the comforts of a town. It is also a perfect choice for those attending events at the Expo Center, such as equestrian shows or festivals. Travelers looking for a no-frills, reliable basecamp will appreciate the tidy grounds and the sense of security. It appeals most to RVers who prefer a functional layout over resort-style luxuries, focusing instead on the incredible natural beauty waiting just outside their door.

This was a really great location as we were traveling to Mount Rainier and it was a nice clean open. Park was a nice spot and great last minute availability. We were greeted by the camp house when we arrived to let us know what was available and she was very sweet. We had a great spot and our dogs could run and play behind us, not very crowded

Very peaceful, quiet, with spacious lots. Camp host friendly and helpful. Only complaint is no sewer connections but that will not stop us from coming back.

Stayed in the RV campground. Full hookups but the arrangement of the picnic tables and hookups gave no privacy between rigs. Weird. Reasonable price and convenient.

Well this place has gone to hell now under new hosts Grumpy Gary and Krabby Karen . There is something wrong when the host lies about people and events . But even worse is the belief that they can come into your site whenever they feel like it .. almost creepy . Why are they coming into other peoples sites moving their property around . So after many lies and harrasing by the host I went to the office and their response was people have different personalities. So here we are again .. checked in on sunday and wednesday here he is in our site again mowing . ( Again we checked in 3 days ago like it couldnt be done before) Nope had to be while we are here in the spot .. only 6 people in the park but had to be now .. just creepy .. When i called the office again about him being in our space again .. We were sent an email telling is we arent welcomed back .. just TERRIBLE HOSTS!! And office just doesnt care !

Host treated my daughter poorly, looking for any reason not to allow her to stay. As a paying customer requested to park truck away from site. requested to repair a back window but could not do it there. Scoped out only her dog to say he pooped and went as far as bringing over poop and said it was his. poor phone service, micro manage, no sewage hook up.
