Beautiful location. Cabin was very clean. Linens and towels were white and clean. Fenced yard perfect for our little dog. Nice wooden deck with table and chairs. Very nice outside sink, grill and fire pit and outside shower. Very quiet. Nice gift shop.

As a rule, KOA is not our first choice for camping due to previous experiences of overcrowding. We had plans to attend Virginia Tech football game, weather forecast great for tent camping. We LOVE it here! Staff wonderful delivering ice and wood that can be ordered just as hotel room service. Site 84 is perfect for us. Level tent site with each site having wooden shelter perfect for stove, coolers, storing chairs, etc. Grill, electricity, and water provided. Showers and bathrooms are individual heated, tiled rooms, no trying to stay private with flimsy shower curtains. Cleaned multiple times daily. We will definitely return and highly recommend Fancy Gap KOA!

What a great campground!! We LOVED our stay here. We have camped all across the country in an RV and this is one of the nicest we've found. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating and there are plenty of things to do. Very clean. We will definitely be back!

We have visited twice and loved every second in cabin K47, which has great AC, an outdoor shower, a fire pit, and tons of privacy for a campground. This KOA location is a great value with friendly staff who always have a smile on their faces. We love the great BBQ, which can be delivered to your campsite. Most importantly to us, it is our three Australian Shepherd’s favorite place in the world and we will continue to come back.

Can't say enough good about this place. It’s a stones throw from the on ramp to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Has a pool, big clean showers, we lucked into a huge gazebo with running water for our campsite, and they would delivery whatever right to your site (during business hours). Wood, soft drinks, ice cream or snacks. We got there shortly after the smoker was shut off and I got a smoked brisket sandwich and coleslaw delivered right to me at the site. Went well with the cold beer we picked up at the gas station around the corner. These folks were fantastic and really looked after us from the second we rolled in. Highly recommended!

Very happy with our trip. This KOA at Fancy Gap VA was perfect. It was quiet, clean, the employees were super nice. We would love to come back for Labor Day if they have a cancelation. Thanks to all at this KOA.

Best staff! We were welcomed by a lady outside the office with our paperwork all prepared and a gentleman was waiting to show the way to our site and took the time to guide us! It is conveniently close to Highway 77 but you don’t hear it. They even deliver homemade foods to your door ! They should win an award for best service!

We spent three nights at the Fancy Gap KOA in April and were very impressed. We like the more wooded locations compared to the open lots and this site did not disappoint. The site is in the mountains so the location is a bit hilly but the RV spots are leveled pretty well. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. They maintain the location very well. The black top drives look brand new, the gravel drive paths are graded continuously, the restrooms are extremely clean, and their gift/convenience shop is one of the smaller that I’ve seen but had the best variety of gifts, comfort items, and RV supplies. We will definitely be back

KOA campgrounds are usually very good but this one was the best I have been to so far. Grounds were extremely clean and were cleaned immediately after guest left their sites. Staff was very nice and helpful. The weather got unexpectedly cold (had some morning snow) during our stay and we upgraded to a cabin easily. The best part was when we moved sites, one of the employees brought us the hot coals from our previous site and used a blower to get our fire going quickly. That is five star service. They have some games in the office area, laundry room, and a small store with something for everyone. I highly recommend this location right off of Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap Virginia!
