We stayed here for a year and a half and were treated like family from day one! Our dogs loved the dog park - its just the right size and well taken care of! The washrooms and laundry are in a luxury scale of campgrounds. While we lived in our RV, our visitors from back east felt welcomed in the cabins [[which are GORGEOUS!]] We did not have younger kids, but the campground certainly was a fun and active place for kids as well. The owner Josh was AWESOME to work with. Tony (maintenance) made the stay even better (quickly became pals with my husband) - he works with and helps all the visitors with any issues! Josh and his family work daily cleaning and caring for the entire campground - VERY hard workers! We are sure going to miss them and hope to come back to visit one day -- Thank you for your kindness and care!

We were in town for the night for our sons mountain bike event. The site was really close to the course. The grounds were beautiful, level, well kept and quiet. I wish we could have stayed another night. They accommodated our needs on race day and were so appreciative for that. We highly recommended the site to our team next year. See you in 2026!

This was our first stay at an rv resort type of campground. We usually stay at state parks. They set the bar very high. It was an awesome experience. Everything was incredibly clean. From the office to the bathhouse to the grounds itself. The playground was amazing and the kids loved it. Great place to stay ane we will be staying here again

I had the most amazing mini getaway at Royal Gorge RV Resort and Cabins! I stayed in one of their A-frame units and it was perfect—super clean, thoughtfully stocked with a mini-fridge, a Keurig for morning coffee, and even fresh towels for the bathhouse. Speaking of the bathhouse, it was spotless and so well cared for! I didn’t have a chance to use the pool or hot tub this trip since I was out exploring, but I’ll definitely be back to enjoy those amenities. I spent my evenings cooking outside, watching the sunset, enjoying a cozy fire, and then climbing into the comfortable bed. Perfect ending each day. It’s clear that the folks who run this resort truly care about their property and their guests’ experiences. Every detail made me feel welcome and relaxed. I can’t wait to return, absolutely deserving of 5 stars! 🌟

We absolutely loved our weekend staying here. The sites were level, easily accessible, and nicely maintained. The playground, sandbox, and jumpy pillow were such a blast and kept the kids entertained all weekend. We spent lots of time swimming and enjoying all the gas fireplaces available. The bath house is SO nice and clean. Staff were super kind and helpful. We have spent the summer traveling to lots of rv campgrounds and this was definitely a top favorite. We are excited to come again!

Awesome spot near the royal gorge! Super kid friendly with lots of family activities! Very clean bathrooms/showers, lots to do. Pool wasn't open in April but hot tub and great deck with fire pits looking toward the royal gorge! Great communication from owners. Beautiful spot with great views! We will most definitely be returning!

We really enjoy the atmosphere at the resort. There are fun yard games and places to sit an enjoy your coffee. Our kids love the bounce pad and playground. The bath house is well maintained and the people are kind and helpful. We will be back!

Easy location 14 minutes from the Royal Gorge. We did dinner on the way at Whitewater Bar & Grill (delicious) prior to calling it a night at the campsite for smores. We chose an "Off the grid" site near the back not needing power or water and were the only ones there. Nice and quiet. Showers were newly renovated, clean with hot water. There were amenities like a small pool (not yet open), off-leash area for dogs and a playground that we didn't use but was well maintained. Highly recommend this spot. Happy Travels.

What a great campsite. The sites were easy to access, especially with our big camper and they were clean. The bathhouse was GORGEOUS! You could tell that they care about their campsite. We didn't use any of the other amenities, but we are planning a trip back so we can take advantage of them! We are definitely returning!!

We stayed here almost 2 weeks in our travel trailer during off season. It was a nice place to have a base camp due to it's location. So many things to due, including hiking trails, within a 30-60 minute drive. Weather was typical mountain spring with varying cold to warm days. Most tourist activities where still closed for the season, but that was fine, as there were no crowds. We could stayed another month. The people at the resort were very friendly and helpful. Our picnic table was kind of rotten and we didn't use it anyway, but could be an issue with other campers. I would suggest the owners take care of issues like that. I shouldn't have to say anything, as it's very obvious. We will definitely be back to take in all the things we missed on this trip.
