This place is not as pictured. The shower house is very dirty along with the grounds. Sites smelled like sewage because their tanks overflowed several times spilling sewage all over the ground behind the Rv sites. Our site sat on crushed concrete which was very hard to walk on - Twisting your ankles was an everyday occurrence. Campground was never quiet due the highway and truck stop right across the street. No service/wifi. Management was also very rude for seemingly no reason. You are treated as more of an inconvenience than a paying customer.

A convenient location right off I-80 and next to a Pilot gas station. Not every spot has sewer hookups but you can ask ask and get one ahead of time. The park is clean and has a little pond on the property. It was quiet and a good basic place to stay.

After a day of contacting various RV parks, we found that most were fully booked. However, we reached out to Fireflies RV and had a positive experience with Brad, the manager, who was incredibly helpful. Although they only had spots available without sewage facilities, we decided to take one and were placed on a list for a 50 amp spot with sewage. The next day, Brad called to inform us that a suitable spot had opened up. Our stay at the park was very enjoyable; we appreciated the friendly community and the large pond for fishing. The facility features a newly built shower house with spacious, warm water showers, showcasing excellent management and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I would give Fireflies RV an outstanding rating of 11 out of 10 for making our stay feel like home while we were far away. 🤗 Oh yeah, they even have wifi lol 🤗🫶🤗😎🤗

I don't know why the heck the other reviewers are giving this place good marks. The manager is probably nice, but he was rude with me. A lot of people who live there permanently and the campers are very disheveled and in disrepair. The location is right next to busy truck stop, which often backs up with traffic, leaving you stuck. I'm sure it'll do for some people, but I passed.

We lived at FireFly for about a year and I really enjoyed it. Really nice guy that manages the campground. We always had really nice neighbors as well. The showers are great. Nice level spots with full hook up! $650 a month isn't bad! Really thankful they are open year round! 24 hour gas station right across the street. Thanks for everything Firefly!

This rv park is awesome! Don’t let the bad reviews fool you! You get back what you give! Obviously! The owners are great people they’re always down for a great conversation. They will understand anything you tell them and try to accommodate to your situations… overall I give it 5 stars 😘😘😘

Stayed here for over a week! My wife, kids and I had an amazing stay! Lots of space for the entire family! Also very helpful that if you happen to of forget something or run out of supplies you have a Pilot truck stop not far from the camping sight so it doesn't take time out our making memories with he family! Definitely will be back asap!! Thanks to the amazing staff for everything! You guys rock!

Carissa was friendly and helpful checking in. Got a 30 Amp spot (#13) for $35/night. Filled water tank in case it got turned off, since freeze warnings are currently in effect. Dump is in a weird spot at end of pull thru sites. Best to access by going counterclockwise around RVs Quite possibly the best shower facilities I've used all year!! Worth the few extra dollars compared to state park entrance fee ($8)and nightly fee ($25) just for the shower alone!

Superb place to camp with very reasonable rates. On July 4th they hosted a Bbq, with karaoke and fireworks. Fun, fun, fun! Campground is conveniently located right off l-80 at the Wood River exit. Being so close to the Interstate you'd think it'd be noisy, but it's quiet and peaceful! There's a pond for fishing or catching bullfrogs, (which my daughter loved doing!) Camp hosts Rachel and Charles are wonderful people, they make you feel like family! Have not camped there since 2020, Rachel & Charles have moved on. When I checked the website, I seen they have raised their prices. It is worth stopping in to see what the have now, just haven't had a chance. Looks like they may have a gift shop now?

We were driving from WI to UT when our truck broke down on the side of the highway at 10:30pm. Limped it to the exit and had no clue what to do. Found Firefly online, called and he answered right away. Was able to get us in a really nice back in spot with 30 amp and water for the night. Ended up staying three nights and the host (I forgot his name) was super nice and attentive. We were so happy to find something in a pinch and get an answer at 10:30pm. Will definitely stop back if we are passing through and highly recommend!!
