We stayed here in 2016 and wow what an improvement in 9 years. Owner has really went the extra mile to make this place special. Great RV resort. We are only here for 3 nights, then on to San Antonio but staff was friendly, grounds were spotless and bathhouses clean. Only complaint is you have to resign into the WiFi hourly when using it. Once a day would be reasonable. That would be the only improvement I can see they could make. I’m sure it’s just a setting in their routers. Otherwise, we highly recommend Fireside.

This camp ground is the best bc you’re in the woods and not a sidewalk concrete resort! The sites are nicely set up with a picnic table and fire box. Guest are invited and October is the best to see and treat the little ghost and goblins. Keep up the good work. Excellent agenda this weekend

Fireside is absolutely amazing! Great sites, lazy river and adults only pool with a bar. Small little café with snacks after a long day floating. Prices are really affordable! We drove 5 hours from the Gulf Coast of Texas to come here and will definitely come again! Scott and Logan do an amazing job of keeping the park Perfect!

The good: Halloween festivities were great and seemed to be well organized. Lazy river, swim up bar and staff were great. Had an issue with our golf cart.. the staff helped us out. Reasonably priced. The bad: Got in after 7:30pm due to traffic back ups! Park was very, very dark and no escort to lead us to our site. Navigating to our site with a trailer in tow in the dark, the rear end of the Tiffin is now wrecked! Ugh. Wifi is NONEXISTENT. Had to get the password to corporate wifi to be able to work and watch TV. The wifi doesn't even show up on your phone. Spoke to other guests and same problem. WIFI IS A MUST! The pond had lots of trash along the shoreline that looked to have been there for some time. Seating area at our site needed to be leveled. Super large hole in the ground that was covered over with picnic table. Overall, trip was good but I would call this a RV Park not and RV Resort.

Place was great. Pretty close to the highway. Pad was level and the layout was nice. Price was reasonable. Lots of room to take a walk. Had a pool and a lazy river. Could easily spend a couple of days there.

The park was lovely. We had a great lot next to the pool and on the pond. The Wi-Fi was horrible. Didn’t work! the hospitality in the front office could use some work. Make sure you bring an extra hose For the sewer because the sewer is next to the road, and you will need the extra length to make it.

Didn’t take trash out regularly not very tidy in off season so I am thinking we may try back during normal season. Was under construction woke up to pressure washer next to our site early am.

This is a nice place. WiFi really does not work. Be careful with some of the spots because you’ll need extra sewer hoses. They put the sewer connection next to the road instead of in the rear. Biggest problem are the people who stay here partying, riding golf carts playing loud music all night. The campers also don’t clean up after themselves leaving trash and cigarette butts everywhere.

BEWARE before booking!! We had to cancel, due to an emergency trip we had to make to Alabama. We were inside the 72 hour window, although the last night of our 3 day booking was not. Stephanie refused to refund or credit any of our stay! When we booked our reservation, the clerk told me we had our choice of sights because the campground was wide open for our dates, so it’s not like they missed out on a booking. You would think with today’s economy, and competition all around, they would want to keep a customer. They just lost this one! *** I would like to add that the GM contacted me after returning from being out of town, and issued credit for our entire stay. Thanks Logan for contacting me!! See you soon!

My friends and I booked our day pass for the lazy river. Easy check in at the front office. The parking area for the lazy river, is it a little distance away. There are several camp pads between the pool area and parking. The bathroom is air-conditioned with a shower. The lazy River it's not that long, but it's long enough. The only downfall to the adult only area, is the bartender does not reinforce the No kid Rule. (adult pool area only) There were a few kids who would run and jump, bringing grass and mulch into the water. After being told to stop, they did.
