Great fun for your family or anyone whose never caught a trout or tasted fresh fried trout. Stop in, guaranteed to catch a live trout in their patio pond. Then they fry it up and serve it with slaw, fries and a DELICIOUS deep fried biscuit.

We were in the Black Hills during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and decided to stop for lunch one day. The fishing experience caught our eye so we decided to give it a try. We had a great experience. The staff were incredible. They assisted with catching rainbow trout, cleaned it for us, and cooked it. Can't get much more fresh fish than that. It was nice to escape the busyness of the rally for a little bit and relax at this quiet campground.

From the 1st call to book a camp site to check in and through our stay at the Fish n Fry campground, our experience was great. We had a nice site on the small creek that gave soothing sounds of a moving brook to sleep to. The host is very friendly and has a professional staff that make it easy to get you to your site. Clean and Comfortable campground in the Black Hills of SD. We arrived a few days before Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and even with a full campground the staff managed the masses very well. The location was close to miles of off road trails to ride on and we had fun checking out Deadwood and Sturgis during the start of the 85th anniversary of the Rally. We were very glad we decided on Fish n Fry Campground for our stay in the Black Hills.

They are the friendless group of people. Everything is clean and taken care of. Reservations required. Great location. I had an RV spot with, power, water, and sewer. Bring long drains, hoses, and power cables.

Really a cute campsite for RV trailer, UTVs with outside pool and fishing area. Open to fish and catch your own trout dinner for them to cook.Very friendly and helpful. Has a small store and café. Food was good. Across the street is a trading post with gas and they will shuttle.you to town.

This place was absolutely amazing! The staff was wonderful and could not be any nicer. They were incredibly patient with my 8 year old. He caught 5 large rainbow trout and he is still talking about it! He didn’t wanna stop! This is such a great place for kids. We were in South Dakota for a week and this was one of the best parts of our trip! The food was also amazing! They cooked our fish within minutes of catching and we also took some back to our campground and cooked it later on for dinner. We stayed another campground in the area but I wish we would’ve stayed here, even though you don’t need to be camping here to fish her. The campground looked nice and well-kept as did the facilities. We will definitely come here again during our next trip to South Dakota!

A definite highlight of our trip! The staff are amazing, so friendly and encouraging. Our 6 yr old really wanted to catch his first fish. We couldn't have picked a better spot. He caught a 12 inch and an 18 ½ inch!!! He was beyond excited and everyone made him feel so special, celebrating and cheering him on. A memory none of us will ever forget! Their secret recipe for frying the fish is also a must try. Check out the store while they prepare your fish, fun stuff at reasonable prices.
