Reservation for 3 nights was made 3 wks in advance. We were put in what amounted to an "overflow" spot, although a couple of very nice sites across from us were vacant for the duration of our stay. There was a wedding and reception on Saturday with VERY loud "music" that you could hear and feel until 1115-1130 that night. Would never go back.

5-Star Review – A Hidden Gem! Flying Goose Campground exceeded all our expectations! The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our campsite had a gorgeous view and plenty of space, with clean facilities just a short walk away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Whether you're into fishing, kayaking, hiking, or just relaxing by the water, this place has something for everyone. We especially loved the quiet evenings by the fire, watching the sunset and listening to nature. This campground strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and comfort. We can’t wait to come back next season!

Well where do I start? We spend 7 days on vacation at the Flying Goose Campground! The staff is amazing, the owners literally brought us over beer as a gift on our last night as we had run out and asked if they sold any, they said no then gifted us a couple. They have so much to offer the lake is awesome, we were able to use the rec room on rainy days and they have all the facilities you need. It’s a very clean campground and we enjoyed every day we stayed there. This is a little gem in the middle of corn fields and it’s awesome! Thank you for everything from the Miller family ! We will be back, you guys are so awesome!

We only got to spend a single night here on our long journey home, but it looked like a wonderful place to stay! The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a big party going on that looked like a blast too! Wonderful happy people and a positive experience.

We stayed at FG on our way to South Dakota for 2 days and on our way back home. This is one of the cleanest, well laid out campground. The owner and staff are among the most friendly. If you have a problem on your site they are on it immediately fixing any issue you may encounter. Paved roads throughout. Very nice lake area. Would most definitely recommend and will stay again when heading on 90 near Fairmont, MN. May even book a week in 2026.

We just stayed this past week and had a wonderful time. Check in was smooth and everyone was very pleasant. The fishing was good. It is the first time that we have really caught catfish but it went fine.

Beautiful campground! Today was the opening day of NFL. The owner invited us to watch and made our stay so much fun! Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The grounds are tree covered, so much shade. Only staying one night, wish we could stay longer.

What a gem! Family owned with family pride. Super clean and organized amongst mature trees and a clean lake. Easy access for a 65 ft rig. Went to use laundry and owner took sheets from cabins out so we could do ours on his quarters. Our dogs eat our last of our butter off counter and I went to store to buy some. They did not stock but son Greg went into his fridge and gave me a stick. Need more people like this family. Thanks

This was a nice little campground. We stayed 2 nights in June for a baseball tournament in town. My kids enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake. The area we were in was away from the main campground and was mostly seasonal sites. Unfortunately, both nights we stayed, people in the seasonal sights chose to play music super loud and party well into the early morning, and we were unable to sleep well. I don't by any means expect people to go inside to bed when quiet hours start at 10 pm, but this was excessive. Music so loud we could hear every song and word, and these people were not in the sites next to us. Kids/people running though our site screaming and yelling after midnight, or driving their golf carts around with music blaring. It wasn't fun that had started earlier and was continuing into the night. The loud music and partying didn't even start up until about 10:30, which is already after their "quiet" hours. After night one, my husband brought it to the attention of the owner, who proceeded to say something along the lines of, "Yea, they all know each other pretty well". As soon as he could change the subject, he did and walked away from my husband. Night 2 was more of the same, even though we had spoken to the owner directly about it. I think we got just a few hours of sleep each night we were there, and we have 2 young kids. This is a bummer because we enjoyed everything else about the campground. I don't live in the area and have no reason to return there, but even given a choice, I would look elsewhere.
