Campsites are mostly large. Being fairly level is a great advantage in motorhome sites. People we've met have been really nice and the staff has been very helpful

This thousand trails is a pretty good park. For its size I would expect a indoor pool with being open year round. They have a large space for events but nothing going on. It is quiet and can see the stars really well. Some sites are cement other rock that just turns to mud when it rains. Premium sites are just standard sites anywhere else. Staff seems nice.

I camp at this park alot since I'm a full time rving. It's clean in the cabins, the bathouses are spacious and clean. The spaces are very large and easy to get into. The people there are amazing!

Forest Lake is a beautiful setting. Has all of the space and most of the amenities people want. But poorly maintained. I asked for a level site for my 38’ motorhome. I ended up with an uphill entrance that ripped off my exhaust (which will cost $800 to replace). Some amenities are simply just falling apart. It appears that Thousand Trails does not provide enough resources or staff. Everyone was friendly and we did not use the bathhouses.

Had some friends visiting from out of town who parked their RV here and we went to visit for the day. Beautiful grounds, clean, lots to do. The fishing pond was so much fun. They had equipment available in the rangers station for any activity like canoes, paddles for pickleball etc. The swimming pools looked well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

This park should be the Thousand Trails gold-standard! This is the 3rd park we have visited in the system during this year's grand vacation. The first 2 begged me not to re-up. 5 more to visit. Hoping this is not the exception.

We have stayed in these cabins three times I thought they were absolutely great. We also have the adventure lifetime membership. That’s absolutely wonderful and we love camping at Forest Lakes

We had a fantastic stay at Thousand Trails Forest Lake! This campground truly has it all—clean bathroom and shower houses, two laundry facilities, a fun playground, two pools, mini golf, basketball, sand volleyball, tennis courts, and even a big screen for community movie nights. The lake was perfect for kayaking and fishing, and we loved exploring the peaceful forest walking trails. The gravel pads were level and the paved roads made getting around easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this campground and would absolutely come back again!

This is a big place. Our first site wasn't what we wanted at all. Joey however took the time to find us the perfect spot. He was very helpful, definitely looking to please us. We drove better than 8 hrs,as we litterally went thru the gate my phone was ringing! The thousand trail rep was eager to sell. This was a definite turn off! Last thing we wanted was to be solicited at this point! Joey was a gem !
