A Cozy Arkansas Gem! My husband and I spent three delightful nights at Fort Smith Alma RV Park in Arkansas, and it was the perfect little getaway. This quaint park has a charming, homey vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we pulled in. The park's location is a huge plus, super convenient for exploring the Fort Smith and Alma areas like the well known "A to Z" shopping. The park had easy access off the highway, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and away from the hustle. We loved how quick it was to pop into town for groceries or dining without any hassle. The sites are well-spaced with plenty of shade from mature trees, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. It's not overly fancy, but that's part of its appeal—clean, simple, and inviting. We enjoyed evening walks around the park with our 2 dogs and the quiet nights under the stars. The staff truly made our stay exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to their helpful tips on local spots, everyone was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. It felt like staying with old friends! Overall, Fort Smith Alma RV Park exceeded our expectations for a short trip. If you're looking for a welcoming, no-frills spot with great convenience in Arkansas, this is it. We'd happily return on our next adventure through the area! Highly recommended for couples or anyone with pets and seeking a relaxing RV escape.

These guys are the greatest. We stupidly rented a tent site for an entire week without checking weather. Once we realized our mistake they went the extra mile to get me a refund. The sites were nice and the Bathroom/showers were kept immaculate. The guys were out early Monday morning doing what they could to fix any issues on the grounds and looked to be doing things to improve the grounds! I give this place 10/10!!!!!

We stayed here twice. Once wile going to our destination, and once when heading home. Staff was SO nice and accommodating. Place is very relaxing and has that "welcome" feel. It is under new ownership, so take old posts with a grain of salt. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stop, relax, and recharge.

This place isn’t fancy but it’s quite affordable and the service is amazing. We had a bad experience at another park and they helped us they provided us a spot at the last minute. They have new ownership and are making great strides to make your camping experience the best

This is a truly amazing place to stay. Now under new management they have taken huge steps to make it even better. I highly recommend staying here if you are head through or to Alma. Even if you are not it is worth the time even great for long term stays.

Wow! What a joy staying here. We travel quite a bit since I work 100% remote and my hubby is retired. The RV park host, Roy, was incredibly helpful and super accommodating. The sites are clean, level and even offer grills, firepits and a picnic table. We pulled in late on a Sunday, and everything was set up perfectly so we could just pull through and plug in! Beautiful pond. You can even rent paddleboats! Bathrooms and laundry room are clean. Swimming pool looks great, but it's off-season, so didn't get to take advantage. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a nice older campground that has sections for full-timers, seasonals, tents and short termers. The building looks like a former KOA. The owners are adding features and repairs all the time. They got us in on a short notice as our planned stop lost power to the pad we were supposed to have. The young couple in the office were great to help us out. They have a pool plus a pond with catch & release fishing and they also rent paddle boats. A bit cold for that in December though! The campground has propane, and they sell by the gallon, not the tank. I like that. This is a very nice area of Arkansas, and I can see us spending some time exploring, especially in the fall. We will stay here again when we are in the area. I just want to add that when you are going down the road in your RV and an 18-wheeler passes you, flash your brights to show that it's safe to pull back into the right-hand lane. Truckers appreciate that and they haul almost everything for us. We camped at Fort Smith / Alma RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
