We enjoy coming to this campground with our camper. The grounds are well maintained and they've made improvements to the campground itself. It's a short distance outside Ocean City (10-15 miles) but that's fine with us.

Nice place, quiet and not too far from ocean city or assateaque island. Stayed in cabin 182. Loved the screened in porch. Bathroom was clean, beds were clean. But I will say the ceiling fan blades needed cleaned which I did myself, not a big deal. But I would say you really ought to get the wall ac unit heads cleaned. Other than that will definitely stay again when back in the area!

We are newer to the RV world but have already stayed at number of RV parks and this was by far our favorite so far. The staff was professional and friendly, the grounds were clean and well maintained, and the overall vibe was one of friendliness and community. Well done, we'll be back.

I originally made a reservation in March of 2024 for October of 2024, but life happened and I need to move it. We moved it to this weekend checking in on Thursday but then found out in February that our youngest son’s graduation was that day so we needed to push it one day more. They were fantastic about it, no issues at all. The campground was clean, peaceful and the staff was very friendly. We did use the mini golf but that was it. A bit too chilly for the pool and waterpark in the other resort. Our dogs enjoyed the dog area. We had a premium back in spot which had plenty of room in the hard surface space for our camper as well as an adjacent hard surface area for the picnic table and stone encirclement fire pit area. We will certainly be back.

Horrible customer service. Please make sure that you verify everything with your reservation because they will be quick to charge you additional fees if not. I will make sure to stay away from SunOutdoor resorts

My family camped here for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a very nice and clean campground! The sites were very spacious and they had plenty of fun events and activities to keep kids of all ages entertained for the weekend. We will certainly be back next year!

Sun outdoors Ocean City Gateway is an absolute family favorite. It is small in that it feels safe for the kids to ride their bikes and participate in the planned activities without concern of cars speeding through or underage kids driving around on golf carts. Hailey and Kasey have provided many family friendly activities to keep everyone involved and excited to participate!

Will NOT be back. We have camped here for YEARS and have never had the experience we have had recently. It must be the new management but this place has became horrible. Upon arrival not a single person behind the front desk greeted me even when I said hi. The cabins are FILTHY, you have to wear shoes inside because the floors are so caked with grime. The floors are peeling or it’s mold in the rooms. The beds are so uncomfortable and the futon feels like there’s years of people’s bodily fluids on it. The first night we were here my husband had an allergic reaction inside the cabin and last night he was bit up by something. They don’t pick up the phone in the office when you call, their own maintenance person stated they ignore the phones. No cable anymore and you barely get WiFi. I can’t wait for this vacation to be over! I would have left and complained the first night but didn’t want to ruin our vacation but everyday it gets worse. Take your money and put you in disgusting cabins! I will be reaching out to management after our vacation is finished ! Stop giving these people your money and go somewhere else!

I tried calling them everyday for a week before our arrival as I had some questions, but nobody ever answered or called me back. I would have cancelled if we were still in cancellation window. The cabin was fine. We had to sweep it when we arrived, but that was expected as I’m sure nobody actually reads the check out rules and sweeps the floor. There is absolutely no shade in 90% of the campground which makes it incredibly hot. The bus to the beach and water park only run Thursday - Sunday which we were not aware of as when we booked, the lady on the phone told me there was transportation even though we clearly booked Sunday - Wednesday. The biggest complaint is we didn’t have water all night, and we tried to call the emergency number so many times, but nobody answers. We were staying with an infant so not having access to water is definitely a problem. We waited outside the front office for them to open at 8am, and were greeted by a woman at 7:50 stating they don’t open until 8. We were able to tell her that we haven’t had water all night, and she did send someone out around 8:30. I don’t understand how nobody answers the emergency line, and the office is only open 8am to 4pm! We wouldn’t stay here again, and are hesitant to stay at any of the other locations in the future.
