Four Seasons Camping Area

Overview

Four Seasons Camping Area offers a traditional Maine camping experience set amidst the tall pines of the Sebago Lake region. This family-operated park provides a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle while remaining close to the heart of Naples. Whether you are arriving with a large motorhome or a pop-up tent, the wooded environment creates a sense of privacy and natural peace. It serves as a reliable home base for those wishing to explore the lakes and mountains of southern Maine during the peak summer months.

Location & Surroundings

Situated conveniently on Roosevelt Trail, the park is positioned perfectly for water enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. It is just a short distance from Long Lake and the iconic Brandy Pond, areas famous for boating, jet skiing, and fishing. The surrounding landscape is defined by dense Maine forests and crystal-clear freshwater, offering a quintessential New England vacation atmosphere. Visitors can easily access the Naples Causeway, which serves as the local hub for waterfront dining and evening strolls.

The park provides a diverse range of facilities designed to keep both children and adults entertained throughout their stay. Guests often spend their afternoons at the large outdoor swimming pool or participating in seasonal planned activities. Key park features include:

  • A dedicated game room and playground for children.
  • On-site basketball and volleyball courts for active recreation.
  • Clean laundry facilities and modern restroom structures.

For those who need to stay stocked up, the on-site camp store provides firewood, ice, and essential supplies. The sites are well-maintained and feature a mix of sunny and shaded spots, many of which are equipped with hookups to ensure a comfortable stay.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

There is no shortage of local exploration when staying in Naples. You can board the Songo River Queen II for a historic paddle-wheel boat cruise or visit the expansive Sebago Lake State Park, known for its sandy beaches and network of hiking trails. The nearby Causeway offers miniature golf, local craft shops, and boat rentals. For those willing to drive a bit further, the foothills of the White Mountains offer stunning vistas and challenging terrain for more experienced hikers.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal choice for families seeking a traditional Maine vacation where children can safely ride bikes and play in a wooded setting. It is also perfectly suited for waterfront enthusiasts who want to be minutes away from the state's most popular lake systems while maintaining a quiet place to sleep. We spent a week here and I have mixed feelings about this campground. First the pros: -on a beautiful lake with boat docks, clean water and a nice beach -every site has a trash can and trash pick up was convenient -outside sink for washing dishes at the bathroom -bathrooms were maintained daily -friendly staff Cons: Our site was a muddy mess! I realize that it has been a wet summer but site #22 (and 23) has no gravel or stones. The other people we were with had sites that drained as they should and even after a day of heavy rain, dried up nicely. This mud ruined our vacation week. We could not have a fire at our site or sit at our picnic table and our dog spent most of the week in the truck or pop up to avoid laying in the mud. Also, there is no weed trimming here. The grassy field in the beginning of the campground was cut neatly but the edges of our site were like a rain forest. The site may look fine from a distance but during set up and walking around it turned into a squishy mess! If we did not have the other sites of our family to go to, we would have packed up and left after day 3! So just be aware of this and be sure and ask about the site that you will be on! With a little site maintenance this could have been avoided.

Older camp ground right on the lake. Super nice people and a great value. Don't expect the KOA ...expect a family vibe and nature at your doorstep. Excellent stay before the busy memorial weekend.

Great campground. Long lake is a great lake and this campground has spacious sites alot bigger then most campgrounds. Mine had its own private dock which was perfect I could be right near my boat. Staff is very friendly and campground is very clean and surprisingly quiet every night. Will definitely be back next year.
