Stayed the night in our RV. Septic was on the wrong side, so treated it as a dump station. Location seemed nice. Nice lake, but couldn't stay long enough to make use of all the facilities including a Chinese restaurant.

Fox Run is conveniently located by the Glenn and Parks Hwy interchange near Matanuska Lake. Several sites overlook the lake, and there is access to the state park and trail systems. There's a small restaurant that has really good fried rice. A downside is that it's right on the highway and very noisy.

Above a busy highway, noise level was ok. We were parked in front row next to highway. Spaces are tight but doable.

The sites are a little tight BUT the staff are really nice! Nice location right outside of town. They have a REALLY good Asian restaurant on site as well.

I'm not even sure where to start with this... RV park. It definitely needs some cleaning up. Very crowded, people are on top of each other. You can't even tell where the sites are. A bit overpriced in my opinion for the state of the property. It's only redeeming feature is the lake but you can only see it from like three spots and they charge you extra for them even though they are in an even more unkempt spot. There's no ceilings in the bathroom, just insulation that's falling apart on top of you. It smells disgusting in there because they don't let people throw TOILET PAPER in the toilet and have a trash can completely full of it that has pee and poo all over it. And then the unnecessary rudeness and hostility towards guest in the forms of signs, everywhere. There's other RV parks in the area, I would recommend not wasting your money in this hostile environment.

A bit over priced for the location. We were right on the freeway, looking out to it. The owner showed me where the lake was, I believe there was only one or two spots that you could see it from an RV? Unkempt spaces with high weeds everywhere. Evidently you pay the same amount whether you have full hook ups or not. We had water and electricity, I was told we are charged for the length of the space, not the services. It was fine for one night, but I wouldn’t go here again. Washer and dryer sets outside.🤔. Just not what we’re used to maybe, for $69 a night.

Decent campground it just happened to be in a construction area at the time. Price was a bit high at $87 for 4 adults. Asked for full hookups and was shown sites with and without, but the prices were the same. There was a mixup with the site we chose but the office resolved it. Site wasn't level but we made it work. Lake was nice and swimmable. Full hookups, wifi is spotty, laundry and showers need cleaning.

I visited back in early May with family. We only stopped by for a quick lunch break as it was our first day arriving in Alaska. It was very comfortable, kid friendly and cozy like. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were great as well. I would love to visit again when given the chance.

Friendliest staff ever. Our site had a wonderful view of the lake. We enjoyed our time and all the amenities. Clean with laundry and shower facilities too. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
