Gorgeous campgrounds that is extremely well maintained. We had a full hook up site that was level and quite large with a fire pit, picnic table and nice shading. Lovely building off of pool with very clean laundry room washroom/showers and lounging area. Staff are very friendly and can be seen throughout the day doing maintenance and available to assist campers. The store has a nice variety of items: food, beverages, clothes, games, toys... even fun items for your furry friend. Nice walking/biking trails, miniature golf, basketball hoops, bike rentals, K-9 run... Top marks for this beautiful KOA.

We have been here about three times and enjoy it every time. We always go in the fall and rent a simple cabin with our kids and dog. Bathrooms are always clean, staff is friendly and the camp store has all kinds of great things in it! They have themed weekends all year i think. We always participate in Fall-o-ween. I recommend!!

First time staying at a KOA and it was amazing! My children had so much to do. It was during fall- o- ween which means there was a lot going on. But they loved eveything from tie dying a shirt, to the pumkin catapult, to the donut eating contest , and dressing up for halloween. It was wonderful time .

Stayed a week in one of the pull through sites. Generous space for our class C. Like other KOA Holidays there was plenty for the kids to do. Centrally located washhouse had many showers with nice hot water and a laundry facility. Laundry machines take card for apple pay. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome and super friendly. You can tell that the activities coordinator loves her job. The roads are gravel so it can get a bit dusty. Go 5mph and there is no problem.

This is my first visit to a KOA. I RV full time and work from home, I don't typically stay at KOAs. However I needed to have work done on the RV and this was the only location in this area still open mid October. And I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience this place. If I were married with children, I'd spend a season here. They have a pool, jump pad, play grounds, hiking biking trails, recumbent bikes, amazing showers, and laundry facilities. This in addition to the standard full and partial RV sites, cabins and tent sites. This place would be amazing for parties or events too. Very spacious and so picturesque. I was graced to experience this location at the peak of fall and the colors were beyond glorious. The staff was amazingly kind and so friendly. Definitely a place I'd stop at again in the future just because. Grateful they were here when I needed a safe spot when getting repairs planned.

We have stayed twice! We live in the thumb and this is a great get a way! The Halloween activities were so much fun and we are going back next year for Halloween! The bathrooms are clean and the cabins are also clean. The staff is so nice and helpful! In the summer the pool is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. I am pretty sure you cant get better than Up North!

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at overall. Kids loved the pool and play ground. Staff was easy to work with and everything went smooth on our late check in. Also when I called to see if we could come in day early lady on phone even helped us with a different sight to ease our larger rig. Very good time.

Camped with a large group of friends, 8 rigs in all gathered in the two loops. KOA staff was friendly, helpful and offer nice services like ice and wood delivery. Campground had few flies and no mosquitoes even when this is a banner wet year. Showers were clean and well kept and they have a laundry. Pool (didn’t use) looked nice, jump pad for the kids (and some of us adult kids!!) was fun. Just enough but not too much, if that makes sense. Great place I highly recommend.

I have stayed at KOA Campgrounds all over the United States and I was thrilled with this KOA Facility. Everything was excellent from check in to the guided escort to our camp site. All the amenities are top notch, well organized, and absolutely spotless. The sites are well laid out with lots of space to spread out yet private in nature. We will defiantly schedule more visits through Northern Michigan. In conclusion, I’d like to mention that I have stayed 4 star motels that didn’t have restrooms and showers as nice as the ones here. A big shout to all the staff that made our stay so pleasant.
