One of my favorite KOAs! The atmosphere was lovely—woodsy and hilly. There were tons of family activities during our stay, like a food truck, live music, and scavenger hunt. Plus, there’s a nice pool, mini golf, and more. The drive to the battlefield and downtown Gettysburg is short. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.

Stayed here for 4 nights. We stayed in a cabin with our dog. Cabin was clean. The cabin has a heater, AC unit, mini fridge, and a TV. Location is 15 minutes from Gettysburg and only 30 minutes from Maryland. Super accommodating. Bathrooms were kept clean. Excellent KOA.

We’ve stayed at over 30 KOAs this year and Gettysburg KOA ranks in our top 2. Wonderful charming, local fun. We loved the staff and how they put so much thought into the campsite. The fire pits of stone, the fun mini golf, the pirate ship playground and the private sites were our family with two kids fav! We had lots of laugh from the start with their voicemail and found this an A+ KOA. Great job team!

My boyfriend and I camped here as our last trip before the fall semester started. It was a great location for our trip! They showed us to our camp site, helped us back in our pop-up, and were helpful the entire weekend. Being only 15 minutes from town was a plus. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice, small place to stay.

Lovely campground, lots of shade, feels very private. By far our favorite campground in the Gettysburg area (this is our 3rd). Really like how the sites are laid out and some have pads with Adirondack chairs, nice pool, rock fire pits in sites, friendly and helpful staff. Didn't take advantage of all the amenities but we'll be back!

PRO: Lots of options for enjoying outdoor life. Lots of cabins, tent or RV spots. There’s put-put golf, swimming, playground and hiking trails. Sites are big enough for our 35 foot with slide-outs. Most of the surface is level gravel with larger boulders in the groups of trees that cover the property. Staff is friendly and helpful. Propane fill-up. Also a fenced in pet area. Whole facility was clean. CON: Getting into and around the grounds in a larger rig is a little tight, but doable. There is no grass if your pet needs that for a potty.

Our trip to KOA Gettysburg/Battlefield was amazing! The site, campground and public restrooms were very neat and clean. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Being our first time camping the staff member that guided us to our site and helped me back in. It took less than a minute to do thanks to him. The campground’s location was great. A short drive to all the attractions. We even found a zoo 25 minutes away. My two kids had a great time. My 12 year daughter enjoyed the freedom of walking around the campground. My 7 year old son loved the playground, mini golf course and the big rocks on our site. The only downside to our trip was we had to leave. The owners and staff should be proud of the work they do.

We started a family tradition, this will be our 3rd year. We absolutely love camping here, the staff is excellent and our cabin is always clean and ready for us. We are creating memories for my grandchildren for a lifetime, highly recommend!

It was a campground to get away for the weekend it's a beautiful clean campground unfortunately there was not one lick of grass I didn't like the fact that I had to park my camper next to a bunch of rocks and I kept tripping over them, not many friendly people. If you have a camper make sure you have a bathroom in your camper I also didn't like the fact that I had to drive every time I had to use the potty. Being new to this campground I thought maybe they would explain to me where everything was but they just hand you a map and send you on your way this wouldn't be one of my top priority picks for a campground. rocks and stone everywhere.

We have stayed at the campground several times. A great mix of tree lined sites and open spaces. Very clean. This is one of my favorite KOAs
