What a great RV park. we stayed here for 3 days while touring the nearby redwood parks. The park itself is awesome - well laid out, perfectly maintained and staffed with very friendly, helpful people. The bathrooms are as clean as my house! The sites are spacious and well maintained. The park backs onto the Eel river, so there is easy access to the river. It is right off Avenue of the Giants, so also easy access to many great redwoods groves (Founders and Rockefeller are my favorites). It is very quiet and access is strictly controlled, so we felt it was also very safe and didn't need to lock up any of our outside "stuff". Definitely one of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed at. P.S. Don't be put off by the approach road (it's a bit trashy), once you enter the park it's like a different world - just beautiful trees everywhere.

We had a great stay here during our holiday weekend to visit the redwoods. They have a very clean, well-organized rv park with just about everything you could need (river access, gift shop, firewood, games to borrow, showers, etc.) The most impressive part is the staff—everyone is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We would definitely recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely a hidden gem! Giant Redwoods RV & Cabin Destination has quickly become one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a true escape from the busy world, this place is something special. Waking up surrounded by towering redwoods feels unreal, the scenery is breathtaking and pictures truly don't do it justice. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. It has that rare feeling where you instantly feel comfortable and don't want to leave. Whether you're sitting outside enjoying the trees, exploring the area, or simply slowing down and taking in nature, there's something about this place that just feels good for the soul. One thing that really stood out to me was how incredibly clean and well cared for everything is. The bathrooms are hands down some of the cleanest I've ever seen at any campground, and if you've camped much, you know how rare that is. The entire property is beautifully landscaped and thoughtfully maintained, which adds to the peaceful feeling throughout the campground. The staff is also some of the friendliest people you'll meet. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience and making guests feel welcome. And the private river access is truly the icing on the cake. Being able to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the river surrounded by giant redwoods makes this place feel even more magical. The location is perfect for exploring the Avenue of the Giants and nearby attractions, but honestly, the campground itself makes you want to stay put and soak in every moment. This has truly become my home away from home. If you're considering staying here, do it, you'll understand the moment you arrive.

This campground was just what we were looking for. Incredible staff, clean sites right in the middle of the redwoods and on the Eel River with a large beach. We had W/E with a convenient dump station. There are a few full hookup sites. We will be back!

Drove in late and were very well received and accommodated by our host, Mike. This was our first experience with our camper. The facility was incredibly clean and woodsy along the Eel River. On our way back down the coast, we again stayed here. Mike remembered us and again we were perfectly hosted. We will make a point of staying here on our way to Alaska next year. Our rescue dog (border collie), Rosie, loved exploring along the Eel River adjacent to rv park.

What a fantastic stay! Kimberley was so friendly and helpful during our check in and for the duration of our stay. The site is well maintained, very clean and well laid out, and in a beautiful and tranquil setting on the river. We initially only booked a 1 night stay but extended it as we loved the campground so much. The sites are spacious and not too close together. Playground a huge hit with our toddler too. We would definitely visit again.

My wife and I recently camped in our RV at Giant Redwoods RV and couldn’t be happier we did! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. Very friendly and accommodating owners who keep their park in immaculate condition. Everything is clean and tidy! Loved the peace and serenity of the redwoods, river, and layout of the park. The park is set in the perfect location to view the various redwood groves along the Avenue of the Giants. They are definitely the most prestigious of all other camping spots in the area. We look forward to another visit someday soon!

An exceptional park located in the heart of Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Easy access to many prominent groves (Founder’s and Rockefeller are as good as it gets!) and beautiful trails. Have stayed here on 3 to 4 occasions over past few years and have had a pleasant experience each time. If you plan to be out late into the night be sure to coordinate with park staff to ensure gate access after 9pm. You DO NOT want to be locked out on the other side of the gate. It’s unfortunate that surrounding neighborhood is depressed (similar to much of the area) and a bit spooky, yet the park is secure and very nice. Will surely stay here again.

Visited from Pleasanton, CA/Washington D.C. to run the Humboldt Redwoods Half Marathon!!! It was such a treat to stay here. The cabin was so cute and the amenities were awesome! It's so close to the redwood forests for hiking (or in our case, running). We are forever grateful that the owners let us do a late checkout so we could come back to the cabin and shower after our race before the 5 hour drive home. We will be back! My expectations were significantly exceeded. The hot shower was amazing and loved the private bathroom. The fridge with the freezer & microwave was very helpful for our food! And Maya (camp pup) was adorable!

Michael and “Mrs. Michael” 😁are both professional and passionate in caring for this very special park in the Redwoods on the Eel river. I rated a 5, the highest allowed rating, in truth the park is a 10+ for the quality of the amenities and the care given by them and by Jeff, the caretaker who “polishes” everything. We’ve been in parks in California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, and, as my wife stated, “This is the best ever, we are blessed to be here.” So, thank you for everything and Happy Day to all. Go there, stay there, and be blessed ❤️
