Gilgal Oasis RV Park
Overview
Gilgal Oasis RV Park offers a peaceful, meticulously maintained retreat within the scenic Olympic Peninsula. Situated in Sequim, Washington, this park is famous for sitting in the Olympic rain shadow, providing travelers with significantly clearer skies than the surrounding region. The grounds feature lush landscaping and fruit trees, creating a quiet atmosphere that makes it a standout choice for those seeking a relaxing home base while exploring the Pacific Northwest.
Location & Surroundings
The park is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Sequim, allowing guests to enjoy local charm, grocery stores, and restaurants without unhooking their rig. The area is framed by the majestic Olympic Mountains to the south and the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north. We're definitely looking forward to coming back to Gilgal! We've stayed here in every season and can highly recommend, as owners Pete and Lisa, and their outstanding camp hosts work hard to make this RV park exceptionally comfortable, functional, friendly and charming with its surrounding natural beauty, holiday decorations and well-supplied clubhouse. The laundry and restrooms are cleaned daily, the grounds are kept up nicely, and our utilities were reliable year-round. Communication was excellent, including helpful emails with updates and a newsletter for tips and specials. The dog park space is not enormous but stays green, shaded and mowed (easier cleanup after the pups!) and even has a convenient motion sensor for gentle lighting when it's dark. Much thought and care is put into this place, and to top it off Sequim is a lovely community with access to a variety of recreation, unique festivals and a surprising assortment of amenities for a small town. Can we give 6 stars?

We decided to stop for the night in Squim and what a great place we found! We’ve been traveling all through the western and southern states this year and Gilgal’s is by far stars above the rest. So clean and beautifully laid out. The bathrooms could rival any boutique hotel. It is on the small side, not a campground vibe, so don’t be like us, make your reservations ahead. But when we did call last minute to see if there was a spot the owner was incredibly gracious. We were lucky she had a space open. This will be on our top 10 list.

This is a very thoughtfully designed compact park in the midst of quiet fields but close to the center of town. A great place for dogs. The restroom, laundry, and club room facilities are tip top and sparkling clean. The hosts were both charming and helpful. Absolutely nothing negative can be said about it.

What a great place! I couldn't tell whether it was crowded from the pics, so I grabbed a quick video. It's quite spacious! The bath house is clean and cozy, and the little dog park is well-maintained. The park is very walkable and accessible to dining and shopping, but it's still just far enough away from the main road to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. They are large breed friendly, which can be hard to come by. We'll be saving this for return visits (if they aren't already fully booked).

The BEST place to stay...hard to get a reservation, but sooo worth it. Great owners, great hosts, and campers are friendly with pandemic cautions. Feels like home away from home !!

Small but well maintained RV part. Hosts are nice and accommodating. They only have a few big rig spots, so reserve well in advance.

The most beautiful setting for this amazing RV Oasis. Have visited several times and will go back yearly! The owners are very kind and a lot of fun. They sure show pride in ownership, the park is clean and beautiful. Love the campfire and patio area. Great amenities! Love the small town feel in this majestic setting!

Lovely, super clean and well maintained. Owners obviously take pride in keeping this place looking beautiful. Sites could be a couple feet wider, but all are adequate. Paved sites and roads. One of the best maintained parks we’ve ever been in. Facilities are really nice too with clean laundry, TV, lounge room with lots of DVD’s to choose from. Just feels good to be here. And beautiful views too.
