The glamp site was amazing - the bed was super cozy and warm. The amenities in the office were really nice - washer/dryer, bathrooms, showers, coffee, information, and games. We spent a week here and can't picture visiting Juneau any other way. There were campfire and cooking facilities right by the glamp site. Everything was peaceful, beautiful, comfy, and just perfect!

My gf and I stayed at one of the tiny homes on the grounds and it exceeded expectations! The home is tastefully furnished, functional, and had everything we needed. It was a perfect place to recharge between hikes and adventuring. 10/10.

Wow, the Tenakee tiny home is so lovely! We had the most peaceful weekend there - it was such a beautiful and cozy space to stay amongst the lush rainforest campground. The campground team, Jean, Onnalee, and Becky were so welcoming when we arrived. Then, the home far exceeded our expectations—even the bed was so comfortable! We will definitely be recommending this spot to all Juneau adventurers. Thank you, Glacier Nalu!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Glacier Nalu Campgrounds in the tiny home Tenakee, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was peaceful and charming, making for a truly memorable stay. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality exceeded all expectations. The staff found out we had just gotten married a few hours before checking in, and we were greeted with thoughtful gifts and a personalized handwritten card, which was such a special touch. We were beyond grateful for the warm welcome and the attention to detail. We will 100% be returning in the future to relive this amazing experience! Highly recommended!

If you're looking for camping in Juneau, but on easy-mode without bringing a lot of gear, this is your spot! We did glamping tents here, which came with typical bedding, chairs, a nice yeti cooler, a gas grill, fire pit, communal ammenities of good showers, flush toilets, laundry and even a keureg in the office, and all nestled on the edge of the Tongass. It's also super well set up for rain. Location is excellent for hiking and boating. It's 1.5 miles from the West Glacier trailhead, close to Auke Bay and Statter harbor for kayaking or whale watching, and the tent sites are surrounded by trees. You will be near RV campers here, but for the camper flying into SE Alaska with non-camping things on their itinerary, it makes life simpler than hiking or boating out to a cabin 5 miles off the road with all your own gear. The sites are about 20 yds away from where the parking is, and it's easy to just be in the forest listening to the ravens.

Onnalee Odom, the Manager is THE BEST! We had problems with the ferry and she did everything she to accommodate us at the last minute when the ferry failed us! Campground is in a beautiful setting and is really convenient to the ferry terminal. Thanks again, Mrs Odom from “your favorite camper”!

Cute forested campground on the edge of town with clean, comfortable facilities. Feels like you’re in a forest but with modern amenities and super close to town. Washer and dryer, showers, gas firepits, and grilling available to use. Lots of people snowbird here which made it feel extra warm, friendly, and welcoming.

Lovely campground run by super nice staff. The facilities were spotless. Laundry, hot showers, coffee/tea, and a little free library. The staff were extremely helpful when my ferry booking got messed up. Great location close to everything. Love this place!

We've lived here in our camper for a month, much cheaper than trying to rent something with a family & pet. Nice place, friendly people, pretty view.
