This has been a great getaway this weekend with our son. He enjoys the beach here, and we took our pontoon boat out on Grand Bayou for him to go tubing and kayaking. We stayed in one of the lodges for two nights. The only suggestion I have is that they add a hand towel rod/ring in the bathroom. There’s no where to hang a hand towel. We loved everything else! The staff are very helpful and responsive. The grounds are clean and very well maintained.

We were at the recreational center and it was very clean and was big enough for what we were there for.

Second time staying in a cabin at Grand Bayou Resort over the Christmas holiday. The staff is friendly & accommodating. The cabin was in good condition. NOTE this is NOT an airbnb or hotel, they do not provide anything like paper towels or coffee. There ARE plenty of dishes, appliances, & pots/pans. The dollar store or grocery store are very close. Restaurants close as well. The resort itself is very clean & nice. The view from the cabin is lovely. We will continue to spend our Christmas holiday at Grand Bayou Resort.

Stayed in site 56. Was a beautiful park if you want the outdoors feel this is the park for you. It was cold and rainy when we went so didn't get to enjoy it too much but it is on our list of places to go back in the warmer months.

Great place to swim and cook out. Water is not very deep which made it safe for the kids. Found 3 shaded tables with grills that were close together and worked perfectly for our large group. Our new favorite place!

It's a beautiful peaceful place and lots of relaxing time. Fishing off the pier, swimming at the beach, or just relaxing at the cabin. BBQ grills are available for outdoor fun with family and friends. And a nice park for the kids. You can also bring your RV. Nice quiet location. And top flight security. 🏝🏘🛝
