My girlfriend and I are from Georgia and we are here for work. The staff of this campground are great and extremely friendly. The atmosphere is like a small town community even for those who are only staying for a short time. They don't make you feel like a number. Thanks for the awesome experience!!

This is a great place to stay for a day or a month. It is just off the interstate but I never heard it. They have some food, such as pizza and chicken wings, and various other convenience store items. Everything was clean, grass cut, pool was busy, plenty of clean showers. They were friendly and helpful, answered all questions with smile. And there are trees to get you out of the sun (if you want that). Great place.

Super friendly folks running this KOA. Magnificent experience. Laundry is clean. Showers and bathrooms are all very clean and spacious. Dogs are welcome. Nice dog park. Traveled to over 50 KOA's throughout the USA and this is one of my favorites.

We stopped Sunday afternoon in our gray camper van without a reservation. She gave us a great site. She was very professional, friendly and caring. I was pleasantly surprised just how nice this KOA is. Clean as a whistle, all mowed up. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. The long term vehicles are all in good shape. No eye sores. The store was adequately stocked. Plenty of room to walk. Two dog parks. And by late evening I think it was sold out. Close to the interstate but no road noise. This was a GREAT STOP. Can’t beat the prices here. We would definitely stop here again.

My sons and I stopped here traveling from Minnesota to Colorado. Very convenient location just off of I-80. We got in late, but there was a nice reservation and information sheet ready for us even though the office was closed. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. Nice quiet location.

This campground is good for an overnight stay. I wouldn’t want to stay for longer than that. The grass wasn’t cut, the swimming pool wasn’t open, and all the games in the game room weren’t on. It’s also beside a gravel road, and a race car kept going up and down the road causing a lot of dust (not KOA’s fault but still a factor to consider). The bathrooms were in good shape, so that’s a big plus.

This place is a dump. I've stayed at dozens of KOAs in my life and this park should not be charging more than 30 dollars a night. But for close to 100, here's what you get: Gravel roads with crater-size potholes and dust everywhere Unlevel sites Sites that are on top of each other w literally zero privacy Loud and inconsiderate neighbors, no one on site from management to keep rules enforced (I called to complain and because they have no one here, they literally had to call the police and that took close to an hour) Looks like they literally took farmland, threw some sewer water and electric at it and called it a day (and a KOA). Avoid at all costs. It is clear that the owners just don't give a crap about investing in the park and aren't ashamed to charge top dollar for terrible sites.

We've stopped here for one night going west and then when returning east for many years now. It has seen better years. I can't remember the last year that pizza was available. But-the gravel/rock roads and sites were freshly graded. We arrived a few minutes after the office closed/our reservation with site information was ready for the "after hours" arrival. Everything worked (full hook ups) though I'm not sure who designed the sewer connection to be 4-6 inches high. Water pressure good, power was clean/stable. Lots of room to walk dogs, probably 50+ signs to remind owners to clean up after their pets. 2 fenced in dog areas. A nice play area for kids. Likely give this place another chance or two.

We stopped for one night on our way home. Office was closed when we arrived, but our reservation envelope was left for us with very clear instructions. Easy pull through, large site. 2 dog parks, one on each side of campground. Although you can see I-80, you really can't hear it. Wi-fi worked great for us. Highly recommend.

“I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Island KOA. The campground was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. I want to give a special shout-out to Heidi and Candy at the front desk. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and providing valuable information about the campground’s amenities. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend this KOA to anyone looking for a pleasant camping experience.”
