Grandview Inn Motel & RV Park

Overview

Located in the heart of northeastern Washington, Grandview Inn Motel & RV Park offers a practical and scenic base for travelers exploring the upper reaches of the Columbia River. This destination provides a functional blend of traditional lodging and dedicated RV sites designed specifically to accommodate those who travel with their homes in tow. The atmosphere is remarkably quiet and unpretentious, making it a highly reliable choice for long-distance road trippers seeking a restful night.

Location & Surroundings

The park is strategically positioned on a hill that provides glimpses of Lake Roosevelt, the massive reservoir formed by the Grand Coulee Dam. Surrounded by the rugged and timbered beauty of Stevens County, the property feels deeply connected to the natural landscape of Kettle Falls. The immediate area is characterized by rolling hills and dense pine forests, offering a peaceful setting that perfectly reflects the slower, rural pace of life found in this region.

Amenities & Park Features

Guests at this facility have access to the essential services required for a comfortable and stress-free stay. The RV portion of the park includes full hookup sites that provide necessary water, sewer, and electrical connections. For those traveling in larger rigs, the layout includes several pull-through sites to simplify the parking process. On-site conveniences such as laundry facilities and wireless internet access ensure that travelers can maintain their daily routines while enjoying the scenery.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Outdoor recreation is the primary draw for visitors to this historic area. The nearby Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area offers endless opportunities for motorized boating, swimming, and trophy fishing. Anglers often frequent the Kettle Falls Marina, which is located just a short drive from the property, to launch boats in search of rainbow trout and walleye. Additionally, the surrounding public lands provide expansive space for seasonal hunting and birdwatching throughout the year.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal match for outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize direct access to the water over luxury resort-style features. It serves as an excellent, no-nonsense basecamp for fishing parties and hunters who need a dependable place to park their rigs between excursions. Because of its proximity to Highway 395, it is also a very convenient stop for cross-border travelers heading toward Canada or those exploring the scenic mountain byways of northern Washington.

We had an extremely weird experience at Columbia Point Resort. Or I should say Non Stay. Not sure what happened but when we showed up to check in twice there was no one in the office, there was no response from the phone number posted on the office door and we were unable to check in to our room. We ended up having to book with a different establishment. Not sure what happened but it was a not so great experience.

We were in trouble, Mr. B is the man! His professional approach and excellent customer reading skills were implemented with precision. It is hunting season and my wife was having a situation and far from home without me. This man took charge and care of us like family, taking care of our booking like the experienced expert he is, thank you so very much indeed. She was very pleased with the extremely comfy beds and very well kept grounds. He made checking in very simplistic and user friendly, avoiding unnecessary complications that arise at many of the other places we have stayed. When a minor detail snuck up after the fact regarding my error in understanding the billing and likely having given him the email too quickly, he took time out of an important meeting to contact me and address my concern showing a true dedication and professionalism that proves his ability to manage and deliver for this location. Thank you so much Mr. B, you are a true asset to this place and they are lucky to have you!

We really enjoyed our stay in the newly renovated room—especially the comfortable king-size bed and the spacious refrigerator, which was a great upgrade from the typical motel mini-fridge. This was our second visit, and the location is ideal for exploring Kettle Falls and enjoying nearby activities. One suggestion: consider providing more coffee pods for the espresso machine. We only found one regular and one decaf pod, but my wife and I typically enjoy two cups of regular coffee each morning. A small basket with a variety of pods would be a thoughtful touch and help set your resort apart from standard hotels. It’s a simple, inexpensive gesture that would make a big impact.

The rooms were clean but probably built in the 50’s so kind of funky with small bathrooms ect. The nespresso maker and kitchenette were nice and the tv had a lot of channels.. My main concern was the $200 this room cost on a Tuesday night. I picture views and a lobby, a few things. I guess it is only motel in town and I’m probably just cheap.

Met by the manager very friendly. Check in easy. Room excellent and all new. Property very homey…flowers, lush lawn in front of rooms and flowers about. They don’t have ice but the manager went into town and got me some ( I was on a motorcycle). A small issue with a clogged sink was addressed perfectly within 5 minutes. Wonderful stay. Kudos to the Manager Branaun, Thomas(Grounds) and Hunter (maintenance)

We stayed here as we were renting a house boat the next day nearby. I was impressed with the cute room, soft bed and great service. Everything was very clean and the room stayed cool in 90+ weather. Although it is right off the highway, I did not hear the road noise at all, nor did I hear any noise from the adjoining rooms. I was very impressed.

What a great break from traveling to the PNW in our van, we melted into the king size mattress and the very comfy bedding. The update bathroom was very nice, A fresh coat of paint, spring flowers and grassy area out our front door gave a nice curb appeal. Located right on the outskirts of town close to Roosevelt lake made playing on the water easy, close to boat ramp and sandy walks on the beach with cool rock hunting. The staff was very polite and helpful with any extra request that we needed and information on the area. We would definitely recommend this place to all... if you are traveling in a R.V. they had nice size lots with plenty of shade as well. oh and pet friendly...

Update number 2 After posting my previous review. I received a letter taped to my door saying I have to leave the park by March 31st due to my bad review. I hope this highlights the type of people you’ll be working with. Management failing to uphold their agreement and bill you on the first as requested, followed by an owner that can’t behave like a professional in any matter
