We have stayed at Happy Acres several times over the past 10 years. Although our stay was in July I still wanted to make a point to share my experience from this past summer. I camp all over the country with my husband and very often our good friends join us, so in many cases we have to pay the guest fee for our two friends. It is usually $5 pp, on rare occasions we've paid $10pp. This year at Happy Acres I was surprised that they charge $20pp!! That made our nightly rate $120 for a water & electric gravel/grass camp site! That is crazy! I have stayed at the most beautiful RV resorts (Sunnybrook in South Haven, MI or Hilton Head National in SC) and have had a concrete pad and patio FU site for $105 - $115 per night and no extra fee for having 4 adults on the sites. I am sure loosing my business won't impact this campground but they really should rethink their fees. Telling us they use the guest fees to maintain the park is amusing. It hasn't changed in the 10 years I have gone there. There are so many other campgrounds to visit. We won't be back.

We love Happy Acres and go camping a couple of times a year here. Lots are spacious, kids areas/parks within the campground, swimming pool, activities, farm animals mini golf, pond for swimming or fishing, shop with goodies and food for sale. We love the trails for walking or biking. See you next year!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Happy Acres Kampground is such a wonderful place to stay! The grounds are clean, well-kept, and easy to navigate. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which really makes the experience feel personal. The campsites are spacious with plenty of room to relax, and the amenities are exactly what you’d hope for—everything from clean restrooms to fun activities that make the stay enjoyable. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful and family-friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Great camping resort for a weekend of fun! Lots of things for the kids to do to keep entertained, you buy one bracelet that allows them to enjoy everything all weekend.. Beach, Pool, Kayaks, Jumping Pillow, Water Tricycle, and all the fun activities. Ron is one of the most valuable assets of the campground, he is seriously there to make sure you are having an amazing time, and his passion bursts through with everything he does! Staff overall is amazing as well (shout out to Amanda)! My only issue is when it comes to the port a potty; during the busy weekend it must not have been emptied, it was full and gross… and also shares 36+ sites with one single port a potty… adding a couple additional along the tent sites would be so beneficial, especially those with little kids that need to go late at night. We however still love the campground and will be back!

This is a nice campground. Its set back off the road so you don't hear road noise. The sites are well laid out. The staff are fantastic and friendly. The rates are reasonable. We had a 50amp site with water. There is plenty to do if you need activities. They also have a nice camp store. And, they have two dump stations, which keeps people moving on check out day. We will definitely be back!
