The campground is nestled in a scenic rural setting characterized by lush greenery and the gentle flow of Hare Creek, which winds through the property. Its proximity to the New York state border makes it a convenient jumping-off point for exploring both the PA Wilds and the Chautauqua Lake region. The surrounding area is primarily agricultural and forested, offering visitors a necessary break from the noise of major highways while remaining easily accessible for large RV rigs navigating the local state routes.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to do within a short drive of the park boundaries. The nearby Corry Junction Greenway Trail is perfect for hiking and biking enthusiasts looking to explore the local flora and fauna of the region. For an exciting day trip, travelers can head to Lake Erie for beach access and world-class sunsets or explore the various antique shops located in downtown Corry.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is ideal for family vacationers and retirees who value a quiet, nature-focused environment over a high-activity commercial resort vibe. It appeals strongly to those who enjoy traditional camping activities like sitting by a crackling fire or birdwatching in the morning. Best Campground Around! Owners are so nice! Staff are friendly and nice too! Spacious sites. Hope to come back 1 day! Great location.

We stayed for about a week while my mother in law was in the hospital, so we were not at the site much. The sites were level, and good sized. They advertise wifi, but when I inquired about the password, and was finally given it, I was told I probably would only have access at the office. Not sure it should be advertised if it's not available at your site. The site is well maintained and quiet.

Christmas in July was once again enchanting. There were millions of lights, all kinds of blow ups and the trip through the camp grounds was very well planned. Thanks to all the people who participated.

We have camped at Harecreek Campground since 1999 and have found it to be a hospitable, family-oriented campground. The sites are level, spacious and grassy. The office and camp store are centrally located; the store carries the basic necessities. Bathrooms and showers are always clean. Noisy, rowdy behavior is not tolerated resulting in a peaceful, non-stressful camping experience. It's a great spot for kids with a playground, swimming pool and gravel roads for bikes. 5 mph speed limit within the campground. We'll definitely continue camping at Harecreek Campground.

Nice quiet place to get away. They have a lot of amenities, but the pool seems to be down. The staff were accommodating and humorous. Overall my wife enjoyed our quiet stay at hare creek. We have a 21' rig but they easily accommodate tri-axle roving homes. They have wood, propane, dump station, country store, etc. Side note: if you cannot understand some fun wit and sarcasm, get over yourself. The "mean lady referenced in another review is funny and very sweet. She went out of her way to make our stay wonderful.
