Beautiful campground. We had a very large site but the only tree on our site was taken down, left us in full sun. Bathrooms and showers were sufficient. All in all a nice place. Laundry room was a huge plus.

This is a great weekend getaway. Very nice facilities/restrooms for a campground. The grounds are well maintained, and the views are incredible.

The Lots are spacious and well maintained. The area is very clean with plenty of beautiful shade trees. We learned that if you are staying in lots 49, 50. &56- you need to come in from the wrong direction for best view of lake and water hook up.

Very clean, ground keepers are attentive as well. Law enforcement patrol through here as well, we really appreciated that. No atvs are allowed on property so be prepared to store elsewhere. Swimming area was decent. Other Campers were considerate and friendly. Curfew is 10pm. Visitors have to leave and no radios after that. Oh, give the deer something good for them. They're skin and bones.

This is a lovely, quiet USACE park on a peninsula in Truman Lake. About 3 miles from 7 hwy. Very popular, so reserve early. Large, nicely kept, wooded campground with 3 loops. Nice showers and laundry rooms. Swimming beach area in B loop.

Bucksaw campground is one of my favorite places to stay. It is quite large with about 300 sites and they are spread apart. It has a really nice Beach and several playgrounds which are also really nice throughout the campground. The sites are pretty level, many with good views of the lake. For bike riders there is plenty of room for that with some trails that will take bikes as well. Some of the sites are basic some are electric and some have water as well. I am not sure if there are any with full hookups.

This is my favorite campsite for family camping. The couple that operate the place are so amazing. They keep the place tip top and are extremely kind. We have been going there for years. No site is too far from a restroom and the marina is a quick 5 minute drive away just in case your ice melts too fast or you forget your lighter for your camp fire. Always a great getaway.

We just returned home from spending the weekend there. We had a very good time. We were there for our grandsons birthday in Clinton. The only thing I had any issue with was, the web site never said anything any having any sites with full hook ups. Wish I had know this. But of course that's my fault, I should have inquired more. We will definitely be back! Oh and sooo close to Truman Lake, and there is even a swimming beach area.

If you wish to camp in a "party" campground then Bucksaw is where its at now. Very disappointed they don't enforce the "Quite" times from 10pm-6am. All weekend all we heard was yelling and loud music and cussing. I will not camp here again. We have been coming here for many many years. Clearly, they don't enforce any laws. Id take your business elsewhere if you want a relaxing family camping trip. Side Note- Not only did we complain about the loud campers next to us, other campers complained as well and confronted the group and nothing was done. Sad that a nice relaxing weekend turned into the worst camping trip ever!
