Overview

Hells Canyon RV Resort & Marina offers a premium basecamp for exploring the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Located along the scenic banks of the Snake River, this destination blends modern luxury with incredible outdoor adventure. Guests enjoy a manicured landscape and top-tier facilities that elevate the standard RV experience. It serves as a sophisticated retreat for those looking to experience the deepest river gorge in North America while maintaining access to high-end comforts and community features.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in Clarkston, Washington, the park is nestled deep within the Lewis-Clark Valley. The surrounding landscape is defined by dramatic basalt cliffs and the winding waters of the Snake River. Its position right on the water provides immediate access to the Snake River Greenbelt, a multi-use paved trail perfect for morning walks or sunset cycling. The resort’s unique position on the Washington-Idaho border allows for easy exploration of the shops and dining in both Clarkston and Lewiston.

Amenities & Park Features

The resort is meticulously designed for convenience and luxury, offering spacious paved sites with full hookups, including 50-amp service and cable TV. Travelers frequently take advantage of the premium indoor facilities, which feature a heated pool, hot tub, and sauna for year-round relaxation. For those traveling with four-legged companions, there is a dedicated dog park. The on-site marina provides seamless water access, while the high-speed Wi-Fi and modern laundry facilities ensure a smooth stay for extended vacations. Highlights include:

  • Indoor aquatic center with fitness equipment
  • Paved sites with beautiful river views
  • Access to boat slips and a private marina

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure seekers often use the park as a primary hub for Hells Canyon jet boat tours, which depart just minutes away to explore the wild river stretches. Fishing enthusiasts will find world-class opportunities for steelhead and salmon in the surrounding waters throughout the year. History enthusiasts can spend hours at the Nez Perce National Historical Park, while those looking for a more relaxed afternoon can visit local tasting rooms or explore the many city parks lining the riverfront valley.

Who This Park Is Best For

This resort is the perfect match for active retirees and families who value a structured, clean, and amenity-rich environment over a rustic camping experience. Because of the level paved pads and wide access roads, it is particularly well-suited for big-rig owners who require easy navigation and reliable hookups. Whether you are a dedicated boater needing marina access or a cross-country traveler seeking a high-end stopover in the Northwest, this park offers a refined canyon setting for your next journey.

Always a great time. Clean quiet, several full timers

It is clean, has paved roads and green grass so there is no dust etc. The sites are level and average size. The Marina next to it is for sale and sadly needs much TLC. There is an indoor pool and hot tub but the doors to it are locked at 4:00. The main issue is the proximity to the road where semis are stopping using their Jake brake and listening to the gears change as they accelerate. This goes on 24/7. A loud fan helps.

This resort was absolutely amazing! The staff was great, especially Kat. Thank you for your help and hospitality! The pool is well-maintained and the sites are very clean. The views are stunning. Also pet friendly. Although it is next to a highway/main road, you only hear Jakebreaks occasionally. They hosted us for our baseball team and had lots of availability. The little shop is small and has the main things you could need if you ran into RV trouble. The port is old and a little sketchy, although nice to hang out at to watch the sunset. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. Again, thank you to all the staff I met during my trip, you were all so kind and I can't wait to visit again! God bless you all.

The park is clean and well cared for, my main complaint was the traffic that started at 3 AM with the loud trucks. The location is excellent. Personal was nice. Priced very reasonable.

This is a super nice RV resort located on the Snake River. Yep, bring your boat! Reception was with a smile and informative! A small store with ice, beer, soda pop and other quick needs. This place was so well thought out that you can pull in either way with hookup's on both sides of the concrete pad for your RV. Two Dog Run's are fenced. Meeting rooms, Indoor pool, person size chess game, indoor hot tub, laundry, restrooms (with furnished access codes), cable TV, WIFI (sometimes a little slow), and the fun of the Rivers at your beckon call

This place is simply terrific. No other inland RV park is at a marina. The pullthrus are wide and long with grass strips on both sides. Relax in the sparkling indoor pool. If you don't like this place you might as well stay home.

The staff is just as amazing as the views! Bathrooms & showers are really nice and extremely clean! Didn't try out the pool or hot tub but we will next time. Big thank you too Kat and the team.
