Henley's Silver Lake Resort
Overview
Henley's Silver Lake Resort offers a timeless Pacific Northwest camping experience on the shores of Silver Lake. This family-operated destination captures the essence of a traditional lakeside getaway, providing a quiet escape from the hustle of city life. Visitors are greeted by a landscape of towering evergreens and calm waters, making it a staple for those seeking a serene waterfront atmosphere. The park emphasizes a slow-paced lifestyle where the focus remains on outdoor recreation, community, and the natural beauty of the Washington landscape.
Location & Surroundings
Situated in the heart of Eatonville, Washington, the resort is tucked away in the shadows of the Cascade Range. Its primary draw is the direct access to the lake, which provides a mirror-like reflection of the surrounding forest. The location serves as a gateway to the Nisqually Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park, offering a unique blend of lowland lake activities and high-altitude mountain exploration within a short, scenic drive from the campground.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is well-equipped for modern travelers, featuring full hookup RV sites that accommodate various rig sizes and provide essential power and water services. For those looking to spend time on the water, the resort provides boat rentals, including rowboats and motorboats, specifically geared toward successful fishing trips. On-site amenities also include a sturdy fishing dock, a designated swimming area, and clean restroom facilities. The layout is carefully designed to maximize views of the lake while ensuring easy maneuverability for larger vehicles.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Beyond the lake, the surrounding area is rich with adventure. Guests can visit Northwest Trek Wildlife Park to see bison, elk, and moose in their natural habitats via tram tours. Fishing is the primary pastime at the resort, with the lake being well-stocked for seasonal trout and bass catches. For hikers, the nearby trails of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provide endless opportunities to explore the rugged beauty and hidden waterfalls of the Washington wilderness.
Who This Park Is Best For
This resort is an ideal choice for fishing enthusiasts who want to be just steps away from a productive day on the water. It also appeals to families seeking a classic summer camp vibe where children can swim and explore safely in a contained, friendly environment. Because of its proximity to major natural landmarks, it serves as an excellent base camp for national park explorers who prefer the convenience of full utilities over more primitive forest service campgrounds.

We didn’t stay in a room. We fished from the doc. My review is sticky on the visit itself. First impressions 1- parking for checking in was tight but after that we were directed to the campus parking. 2- the doc was a bit of a tripping hazard by having pieces of boards sticking up I did appreciate the cleanliness of the women’s restroom. They had hand soap, SEAT COVERS, tissue and HAND TOWELS. I love that for a public restroom. Keep that up. Just improve the boards they seem a bit unsafe.

Camped, hosts were super helpful and friendly. Kinda rustic, but they have plans to improve. Great place to fish. Was wonderful having firepit and great view being directly on lake.

I go here to fish and canoe. Lots of trout, bass, bluegill, and crappie and more. Seems to be a bit smaller than Spanaway Lake. I have never seen any the rooms nor have i seen an employee. Great place.
