We chose Herrick Campgrounds for our very first family camping trip this 4th of July, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We’re still enjoying one more night here, but it’s already been such a wonderful time. We were a bit nervous at first, since our child is autistic and we weren’t sure how he’d handle his first camping adventure. But the campground has been so peaceful and calming for himand he enjoyed playing in the water and exploring the playground nearby. We’re already talking about reserving the same spot for next 4th of July. Highly recommend!

Had my granddaughter's 3 day graduation open house/camping at Herrick Park and recreations, it was really nice. Her friends and family really enjoyed themselves 🥰

My son loves playing on the beach and in the water. Only complaint: geese. Canadian geese are everywhere and so are their feces, feathers, etc... I know you can't really do much to prevent this I'm sure but it's pretty gross in spots the further downwind you are 😢

When it comes to spending time with the family local or just traveling to camp or making a stop to get out the car herrick is by far the best place to go! Monster bass! Tons of bluegills, pumpkinseeds and the occasional crappie! There’s multiple beach areas with a special made swimming area with a park… $6 to get in pass daily $16 year pass (locals) $3 a day boat pass yearly is 12-16$!! Best spot to go! We go there multiple times a week

My wife and I love herrick park ! The cabins are 40$ a night and the showers were a couple hundred yards away and they were clean. The bathrooms were clean, there is good fishing. A great place to camp with family and friends I recommend people to go there and give it a try.

Very nice place to be. And to bring family and children. Beautiful scenery and the swimming spot is convient right across the road, staff is friendly respectful and kind. I love it here and highly recommend to anyone. 💜

Campsites are shaded, easily accessible, small. The bathrooms smell like an outhouse. The showers are clean but you have to hold the button down to keep it on longer than a few seconds as there are no knobs. We were told they have electric and water. We were given a site with electric only. Extra cars or guests have to pay a 6$ fee. The fire pit is a small tire rim buried in the ground. I saw no convenient grills. 25$ a night. Rude host. Will not be back.
