Great family park. It’s so beautiful has plenty of shade. You’re able to buy little bags of duck food for just $1 and you can let the kiddos feed the ducks. Also the staff has always been nice. 😊

Hesperia Lake Park is a great little get-away in the desert. Plenty of green trees and green grass. A play ground for the kiddos, picnic tables and ample trash receptacles. All the bathrooms are port-a potties. There is a general store that basically carries, water, soda, beer, ice, jerky, and assortment of individual sized snack chips. You can buy small bags of duck food for $1. Fishing is allowed on the lake but no boating or swimming is allowed. Overnight camping is also permitted, for a fee. Open pit campfires also not permitted. Great place for an afternoon picnic with your special someone or a weekend camp out with the family.

Lots of ducks, geese, even a couple pelicans! Fishing, snack and tackle, and a natural spring fed waterfall. Picnic tables and nice for walks.

This is for Hesperia Lake Park equine area! We camp here when ever we head south. The equine area campground is head and shoulders better than the regular campground as it is huge, we've never seen another camper (weekends or week days) and is very quiet. It is not right next to a busy road that the locals think is a national race way! Water hookups, no electricity, no sewer and we love it! The gates are closed at night to keep the yahoo's out but not locked! If you don't mind the lack of electricity and using pit toilets but love the seclusion, quiet, dark skies right next to the Mohave river, this is it!

Haven't been here in years, We stopped going because people weren't respectful of the ducks and geese and didn't pick up after themselves. Well, years later, we went to feed the ducks and geese, bought food for them in the store(only $1 for a bag of food!), the young man behind the counter was very friendly and informative. Great experience. It was ni Please don't feed the birds bread.

A piece of home in the middle if the desert. Always 10 to 20 degrees cooler than 29 palms. Beautiful breeze as if you're at the ocean. There's a creek with ducks and geese and plenty of tree cover. Great play area and we've never had any issues there. We've used the grills and walked around the fishing lake. I just wish we could camp on the grassy part, I'd love it! WORTH THE DRIVE. OH- and the porta johns are well-maintained. The handicap one in the back parking lot is always prestige, which says a lot!

Would easily be 5 stars if they cleaned more than once a week. We camped for a couple of nights while visiting my brother. First night the bathrooms were disgusting (Thursday) but on Friday they cleaned and it was much nicer. Perhaps they should clean on Monday too.

This is a beautiful park with lots of picnic areas and wildlife it's recommended that you do not disturb the geese and ducks in and around the pond size lake. there is plenty of parking and the stables and equestrian area is also nice for a long walk. Pets are very welcome and there are restrooms available. Highly recommended
