Staff is so kind and helpful. Grounds are clean. Bathrooms nicely decorated and smelled fine. Sites all have fire pit and picnic table. Great place for kids with plenty of park space and activities. Nice sized lake.

Has always been our favorite camping place ❤️ we had our wedding here in 2023. All of the activities they have for kids is unlike any other one weve been to. Prices are perfect for anyone looking to have a nice week/weekend away. The staff is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful! Also dog friendly ❤️

I'm surprised to see so many good reviews.. We called to ask how much it would be just to go swimming, $12 per person. Last day they're open for the year so we figured we might as well take the chance, the riordian pool is closed & it's still in the 80s. We drove up & found a parking spot, all the signs are kind of aggressive & it already felt like we were getting yelled at lol. Walked up to go into the office, & could see the water from where we were it was green. Not like normal pond green, I mean a pretty vibrant green that I've yet to swim in. We figured eh, we've had worse, but once we walked into the office we were greeted by a very musty/damp smell. Stood at the counter for about five minutes, nobody in sight. An older blonde lady with curly hair walked by, my boyfriend greeted her with a kind "hello, ma'am" & she just kept walking. Like she didn't even hear us. There's a house on the campground with garbage & junk all over the place, it looks like someone lives there??? I've never seen anything like this, & all the rules taped all over the counter in the office was pretty appalling too. Having been a hardcore camper, this was somewhere I would never consider camping at. Let alone swimming at, reading all the other reviews I see that the pool is not much better. Ewgh. Do not go here

Place is not maintained what so ever. Bathrooms were closed for “cleaning” but once they opened up the same tags that were in the shower the day before were still in the shower on the floor. Shower heads falling off the wall, floors are not swept or mopped AT ALL ! So you can only guess that the toilets are not being cleaned either. Make sure to wear shoes while in the shower, you can see the slime buildup on the floor . The pool is disgusting . We asked if it would be cleaned they said yes and it was never cleaned. The filter was not working so it’s just the same water for days without filtration. The entrance bar to the pool is very very wobbly not even safe to hold on to. The stairs to exit the pool are also very loose and not well secured. Place is not maintained nor clean . Do not recommend. Never been to such a dirty camp ground. Very disappointed for the amount of money paid.

I have been coming to Hi-Tide since I was 15 yrs old. I am now 40. My family and I absolutely Love coming here, year after year. Everything was kept nice. The grass mowed, the inflatables or water toys kept clean. The pool had plenty of chlorine, The lake never smelled bad and the bathrooms were nice. I don’t know what is happening there now but that is not the Hi-Tide I remember. Grass was up to our ankles which is not good. Long grass and water.. The lake was stinky. I felt disgusting swimming in it. Some of the toys were nasty and grimy, The pool needed cleaning, had tons of bugs and didn’t have enough chlorine. The pool area also needed to be swept out and there were hair clumps everywhere. The sand was also dirty. I couldn’t believe the things I was finding in it. The sand before was so soft and clean. They would drag it every morning. The TLC here is lacking so bad. My friend also rented a camper for the weekend and they didn’t even have the audacity to clean it before they rented it. The grills they have placed around the campground are awesome but they are rusting and falling apart. This place is going downhill and I hope that they see this and feel an obligation to do better because they are running it to the ground.

Our family had an amazing time at this campground! It’s the perfect destination for a family-friendly vacation, with something for everyone to enjoy. The water activities were an absolute hit with the kids. There’s no shortage of fun on the water! They even had organized games by the water, which made it all the more enjoyable for the entire family. For those who love a bit of friendly competition, there’s also a great area for games like bags (cornhole) which we loved playing as a family in the evenings. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to Mary and Joe, the owners, who made our stay even more memorable! They truly go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Their personal touch and dedication to the campground really show. All in all, this campground provided the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, and we can’t wait to return!

Upon arrival we checked in and were told that we had to pay extra for 2 of the 4 adults staying in our camper. I don't mind paying this but when you call to make the reservation they should tell you how many people are included and how many pay extra. The campsites are so small that once you park your vehicle next to your camper(no room to leave it in front of it) you have barely any room left on your site. When you are trying to back into your spot you better hope the people camping across from you are at their site to move their vehicles otherwise you're not getting into it. The "Lake" is a stagnant pond, the water feels thick and doesn't look clean. The beach has garbage on it and there are chunks of glass, the garbage cans that are provided were overflowing by noon and trash was on the ground. The Bath house has 4 showers that require quarters and it's shared with the general public so good luck getting a shower. The bathroom and shower stalls are also hogged by the public to change in so you have to wait forever. The fire rings provided at the campsites are so rotted they are falling apart in pieces. Quiet time is 11pm, but even at midnight people have their music going and kids are running around screaming and playing. We arrived Friday evening and by Saturday at noon the dumpster in the campground was overflowing with trash on the ground and the smell was horrific. The pool had a safety handrail to grab when entering the water but it's broken so badly that it provides zero support, which would be a huge deal if the stairs weren't slimy and slippery. The water was cloudy and didn't seem to be from the chemicals because you couldn't smell any. The dump station is located at the exit making it difficult for anyone with a large camper to pull out when someone else is using the station. The septic also seemed to be seeping up through the ground and stunk horribly. The only positive was the way they do Bingo is fun for kids and adults alike. Our group made the best of it and had some fun, but out of 7 adults and 2 kids each person rated it a 2/10, would not return or recommend.

The customer service is amazing the lady at the front desk was the nicest lady I have ever met, she needs a raise. The cabins are very hot but there nice. The only part I don’t like is that you need to be 18+ for life vests. There is a lot of flies though and it kind of annoys me but it’s alright. They need a bit more floaties on the lake.

Love it! Although the hours for the pool I think should be till 10 and lake till 830/9 but still amazing. Bathrooms needed more help but what do you expect haha camping most people use the trees. My family and I will be back and are considering coming to camp all next season as well

I'm currently staying here and considering leaving. There's garbage everywhere. You have to wear life jackets in the deep end, but they aren't open to rent one. Neighbors fighting at night for a few hours but no one did anything, so we had to call the police. The bathrooms are disgusting with dried blood on the sinks, toilet paper all over...I can't get clean in there. Just overall, not a good experience so far. In fact, it's terrible.
