The Flannel Camper

We have stayed here a few times on our way back home to Vancouver, Washington. The location makes a perfect location to break up the return trip. We have always been greeted by a friendly staff worker, then escorted to our site. The grounds are kept up well, the sites are nice and wide with a concrete pad for the picnic table. The dog park has nice lush grass, unlike some places that just have gravel or dirt. The pool area is well kept, along with the bathroom facilities. There are a few "full timers", but the park does a nice job separating them from the short timers. We will return. Update for 2025: We stayed here once again, but this time I remembered to shoot some video of the property. As always the place was spotless and the people were friendly as ever. It’s definitely off the beaten path, but that’s a great thing! The park was packed when we arrived, but we were guided right away to our site by a friendly manager. Great location, fantastic amenities, and very friendly staff.

Beautiful RV park with awesome views. Sites were well maintained, bathrooms and showers were nice and clean, there is even evening swim time set aside for adults only from 8-10pm, and the wifi was strong. All around awesome RV park. We'll be back for sure!

This was such an enjoyable stay! The park was so clean and well maintained! The staff was so helpful and friendly! The pool and hot tub was amazing and we especially appreciated the adults only hours at the end of every day! Laundry facilities and bathhouses were excellent! So clean and well maintained! Unlike many of our “Resort” stays This one was actually worth the price! Five stars!!

I know. Always a bad review among good. But honestly they deserve it. After a long travel day the last thing anyone wants is a rude, arrogant and aggressive person at the front checking you in. She stopped checking me in to tell the person waiting that there are no vacancies, there is no waitlist and no one ever leaves the park on a long term basis. She then turned back to me and gave me the rules. She moved our site which was not an issue but she should have given us an equal site. Upon getting to the site and seeing no grass strip for the dogs we inquired again if we could be moved. We were told again that they were fully booked for the night and we can’t be moved. Upon going to bed, there were 2 sites in the same row with grass. In the am those sites were still open. Honestly, would it have killed you to be kind. We’re were not even there for 18 hours. Not to mention the multiple bandaids floating in the pool Bathrooms were clean but smelled moldy I’m sure there are better parks in the area with much more welcoming employees.

Easy 5 stars. This RV park is very clean, has really nice amenities including two shaded dog parks and multiple grassy walking areas for dogs (better than most RV parks we’ve seen). The staff is very friendly and on constant patrol to ensure everything is pristine. The park is quiet at night and respectful. The location is perfect to see the beauty of Boise. There are so many trails walking distance from this RV park as well as stores and other amenities. The back of the park faces a river and dog walk. Would 100% recommend this rv park and would absolutely stay again if were in the area

Great spot for a dump station. $10 and very clean. Easy pull through. Nice, friendly staff! Thank you!

These people kicked out my mother and her husband because their trailer "wasn't nice enough". After reviewing their website, it does not appear that there's any rules regarding how "nice" somebody's trailer needs to be. Furthermore, it's not like their trailer is a shack. It's a standard camper. Also, kicking them out at night, leaving them to find another location for the night is an absolute disgusting way to carry yourself. If you truly have an issue with the quality of the trailer, at least have the decency to allow them to spend the night, and advise them the next morning that you believe the camper is "not nice enough" I recommend finding a more friendly, open minded, less judgmental spot to stay. A quick Google Map search shows that there's plenty other options in the area.

We had a wonder three night stay at Hi Valley RV Park. The entire staff was very friendly and the park was IMMACULATE! The sites were all clean and well maintained and the majority of the sites were pull through. It seems that most sites have two spots for sewer which is awesome. The office and rec area are warm and welcoming. The pool is the prettiest I have seen at an RV Park with lots of comfortable seating. The laundry room, which is adjacent to the rec hall, was wonderful and clean. You could sit and read a book from their library while waiting on laundry. The bath and shower areas are also adjacent to the rec hall and office making everything so convenient. Though we don’t have pets, there was a lovely dog park. This is a family owned operation with several locations. We hope to visit again!
