Nice park, lots of amenities. Fabulous dog park! Plenty of room for my dog to run at full speed, expend some pent up energy, and stretch his legs after being cooped up in the RV for several days. We might even stay at the RV Park next time we're in the area.

The playground is in my opinion small. This is a big park so I was expecting a larger playground. There aren't any swings at the playground. My grandchildren had fun while we were there. I mostly appreciated that there was a open and clean restroom near by. This was very important in the end when all five of us needed to go badly.

Hickories Park is a wonderful attraction just outside the Historic Village of Owego, enjoyed by both local residents and visitors. The park offers a wide range of amenities that make it welcoming for day trips, events, or extended stays. Visitors can choose from more than 60 RV sites with hookups, tent sites with water, restrooms and showers, and a convenient dump station. The park also features multiple playgrounds, paved walking and biking paths, basketball and volleyball courts, and plenty of picnic tables and grilling areas. Several large pavilions — including one that can accommodate up to 200 people — make it an excellent venue for family reunions, community gatherings, or special events. Hickories Park sits along the Susquehanna River, offering a boat launch, creek access, fishing, and beautiful views. It also hosts seasonal events such as summer concerts in the park. For pet lovers, the on-site Rebecca Weitsman Memorial Dog Park provides a safe off-leash space for dogs to enjoy. The atmosphere is peaceful, spacious, and family-friendly. While it’s a large park with extensive amenities, every corner feels approachable and community-oriented — more like a local town park than a big facility. Whether you come for a picnic, a concert, or an RV stay, Hickories Park is a true gem of Tioga County.

Wonderful experience! We stayed in our 42ft Brinkley RV for 4 nights. We paid $30/night, cash only but staff was very friendly! The playground was fun for kids, there are a couple trails, public restrooms, pavilions for rent and some community events hosted there as well!

We camped at Hickories park on our way through New York and are very impressed! Phil checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. The staff keep everything clean and well maintained. The prices are so reasonable too! We highly recommend this beautiful park and campground!

Love sitting to look at the river and hills! Cute yet sturdy little swinging benches. No trash service, but they do have a few stations with dog 💩 bags and a small trash, which was much appreciated! And helps keep the park clean.

Very nice park has camping for tents as well as RVs, some 50 amp sites, and some 30 amp sites with water. They have a dumping station for sewerage, or they come around a few days and will pump your rv tank for $20. There are showers on the grounds.

It was a very clean peaceful park. We stopped by during our 8 hours drive to Canada. We had a quick lunch picnic stop there while kids play in the playground. Take Our Your Garbage policy in the park was great. It kept the ground clean. We enjoyed an hour of break there. The dog park was great too. Lots of little obstacles for the dogs to climb and run in. Must visit.
