Great campground for family. All sites have electric and water. Some have sewer. Pump out service available if needed. Grounds are very well maintained. Bathrooms and shower are always clean. Kid and dog friendly. Beautiful sites on the river. I stayed there 3 weeks and loved every minute. Hopefully I can do it again next year.

My husband and I only spent one night at Hidden Acres and wished we had more time. Staff and other campers are friendly and helpful! Bathrooms were decent and there were so many activities! Shout out to the OG campers who let us join their bocce game. We stayed at 50c with our 17 foot casita and had the area to ourselves. The view was beautiful and it was quiet and peaceful. It is a mix of seasonals and campsites and plenty of trees.

Wonderful family campground! This was our first time at Hidden Acres. We had a site right on the river which was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The grounds, bathrooms and showers were spotless. Lots of activities. Just a great place! We will definitely be back!

Awesome location for families. This was our second time out in our travel trailer and we were told we scored the best site in the campground...after seeing it in person, we agreed!! Awesome views of the river, ability to jump in/tube/fish just steps from our site was an excellent perk! Kids also enjoyed the pool and some of the games (basketball, volleyball, table games, etc). We also did a few loops around the campground on our bikes...with it also being quiet, it gave our youngest who's on the spectrum the opportunity to learn how to ride a two wheeler with pedals on his own. We enjoyed the peacocks and goats for a break of the campground feel...the peacocks randomly made their presence a few times to our site aswell which was a great to see. The staff were welcoming and attentive when we arrived/stopped in afterwards to check out the office. We definitely would like to make Hidden Acres a yearly trip for us!

I can not say enough about our experience here. Everything was absolutely perfect! The beach and pool was clean and so much fun. They have Peacocks 🦚 and goats and a beautiful kids playground. 😍 They have a convenience store with everything you need. But most of all, we had a storm on Thursday night and wow it was bad all of a sudden. A tree snapped and fell on the power lines which took out our power. But their staff was right there in minutes in the bad weather and all. Got the tree cleaned up and had the power back up and running in no time. Amazing 👏 job!!!! Thank you Hidden Acres for making our vacation Time absolutely perfect 🥰💞👌😀 Highly recommend this place.

We spent a week at Hidden Acres for our family vacation from Pennsylvania and it was wonderful!! Staff was so kind and friendly. We had a beautiful site on the river. The bathrooms were all conveniently located and very clean. We spent most of our time in Mystic which was a nice 30 minute drive. We did not participate in the activities or swim in the pool but there seemed like a lot to do. Even when it was full it was still always quiet and peaceful. This was by far our favorite campground that we have ever been too.

Absolutely awesome time. First time there and I will be back!!my site was huge and concrete pad that both my stairs landed on. Activities were good. My almost 7 yr old boy loved the hay rides and peacocks 🦚 running area and the goat play area. And to top it off, I didn’t know it was military/ veteran weekend. My neighbor told me and I went to office and they were so pleasant and gave me a goodie bag and refunded half the price because of being in the military. I will be back to this campground again and again!

Where do I even begin?? This was my first experience at hidden acres, but definitely not my first camping experience! I have to say that this has been one of the most enjoyable camping experiences we have had to date! Our group had such an incredible time, and there were so many different activities for us to participate in together for Mother’s Day. The cabins were more than I ever could have expected-were very clean, and made camping such a breeze! I truly felt spoiled rotten! The view by the river could not be beat. It was simply perfection. There were goats for the kids to feed and visit with and the peacocks are EVERYWHERE. The kids were fascinated by them, and they enjoyed hunting for feathers around the campground. It was their favorite part! The staff was so kind and inviting and they truly make you feel like family upon arrival. 20/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND for camping with kiddos!

Best Campground in CT! The campground is beautiful. It's set in off the road, and they keep it so you so you actually feel like you're camping in the woods! Not like those campgrounds that are all cleared out ( no trees, sites so small you feel like you're on top of the sites next to you). There's sites that are on the river, that have gorgeous views. They have sites that are in grass covered fields. And then the sites that are in the woods. The sites range from big to bigger! All the facilities are kept spotless. There's a lot to do with all the activities they offer. Or you can just relax and take in what nature has to offer. The staff is very friendly, and you can see them constantly making sure everything is in tip top shape. They have a place where you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner,if you don't feel like cooking yourself. Everything I tried was delicious! If you haven't been there yet, you should definitely go. You'll find yourself going back again and again!

This is a really well operated campground; the staff really cares about you and your stay and will go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and that you have everything you need. They needed to do some tree work adjacent to our site during our stay this year and more than well made up for it by offering us complementary amenities from the store, which was very kind and though not even necessary, quite generous. The grounds are clean and they offer a wide selection of activities. The Front Desk associates have always been so kind and welcoming. The location is so perfect for a relaxing and restoring getaway. They don’t have too many electric and sewage sites so they book out fast! Booking is also done in an analog fashion on paper, not being able to book online is a little tricky, but they’re pretty good about answering their phone! You won’t regret your stay here. But I highly recommend making sure you have adequate bug spray! Being on the river is absolutely beautiful, but comes with bugs! Regardless, we are sure you’ll enjoy your time.
