It's a hidden place for sure. Want to get away for a night, grab a spot here. It's a 4/5 kinda place but you will feel the 5/5 before you end your stay. ENJOY PURE NATURE!

First thought this was an amazing place and owner was honest and caring . But we now call this place hidden charges pond. Owner does not have a good book keeping computer program always showing you owe more then you do and it never shows payments made. We had 4 diff. Balances for end of Feb. When wife showed we didn't owe that much well he didn't want to talk to us. My wife and I respected him and the camp she was always sweeping up glass in dishes area or picking up just out of respect she would help people with food ,clothes. We kept to ourselves . But out of blue he turned on us and showed more appreciation to a meth head and to the guy who sabbatoged my job and stole my motorcycle seat. Richard creates all the drama out there by discussing others finical issues or personal issues . He talks and gossips about everyone out there . There for creating drama . Then blames his meds he's on . Think it's time he quits doing the books and letting someone else do it . Also we had talked with Indiana Dept of revenue and he is illegally charging sales tax a big no no . He claims it's hotel tax well the law states anyone staying over 29 days you cannot charge sales tax then he stated to another the sales tax was on the electric oooopppss also IDOR stated very illegal against the law to charge sales tax on electric . My wife and I very hurt at the way we were treated due to having a motorcycle when the owner has 2 Harley's himself but mad because his wife won't let them ride . So we were hated on for having one . I was even told we'll have fun sleeping on your bike . Like wow some Christian huh. And I won some money at my job which was told by someone else and he threw a fit about it even though we gave him 900.00 out the winnings . And it's fine that my wife going to pantries for food but every month here comes the swans truck for his family . Our neighbor paid over 600 one month so he didn't kick us out because he was telling others we owed a lot more money then we actually did so before the next month after showing his true ugly greedy gossipy side God led us to make a dissicion to leave . My wife was just like nah she wasn't going to keep giving money to someone who ran us down over charged us. You know God sends his chosen sometimes before others to see how them others will treat his people and he showed who he TRUELLY was . Just pray he sits back and thinks of how he treated good people . Because my wife takes that to heart she's a wonderfully hearted soul and when others treat her like that it tears her up . We would've done anything to help Richard out with anything but he took sides so there you go I guess. But karma sucks when you do good people wrong . God's punishment is far worse . And also he reads his own meters for electric no way our electric should've been 300.00 when meter barely moving . So calls were made about that too .

Nice quiet place we love it here. The owners go above and beyond for so many . We were in a situation where we didnt know where we gonna lay our heads and God lead us here . Safe for your kids . I've always been shy to meet new people but the ones I've met have been nice . Scott and his wife really do alot for the people who stay out here and are a blessing to us thank you for all you do .

My stay at this campsite was long term. Over the last year, I have enjoyed seeing eaglets learn to fly and surf the wind currents. I have enjoyed hearing the cranes call and fly over in the morning. The deer that were here including the fawns, were a delight to watch and enjoy. My biggest complaint would be the issues with phone and internet.
