Adventure seekers will find plenty to do just minutes away from the resort. The Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway is a must-see, leading through historic mining towns like Madrid and Cerrillos. For breathtaking views, a drive to the Sandia Crest offers a panoramic look at the Albuquerque basin from 10,000 feet. Hikers and mountain bikers will appreciate the extensive trail systems in the nearby canyons, while those looking for urban excitement can reach the shops and galleries of Albuquerque in about 20 minutes.

NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY!!!! The staff was awesome. Very friendly. The place needs some serious maintenance. Huge ruts everywhere, small sites. With our slides open, you could not walk around the RV. Getting in and out was tight.

Love this park! It is only 15 minutes from Albuquerque and 15 minutes to Edgewood, if your not wanting to go to the city. The staff here are super friendly and very helpful. There's a cute park for the kiddos, as well as a very well kept dog park for all the fur babies. There are trails near by if you need a nature walk. There are 2 buildings with showers that they keep super clean. I definitely recommend stopping here for a stay!

This is the worst campground we’ve stayed at, the sites are so small we barely fit, the roads have huge ruts in them, the pool is shut down, the top bathrooms are disgusting and when I called about them she told me I needed to go use the ones at the bottom of the hill that weren’t cleaned or had paper towels the whole stay, we spent a week and the bathrooms weren’t cleaned 1 time. The workers sit on the office porch and didn’t do anything the whole time we were there. We rented this spot through Campspot, their pictures definitely aren’t accurate.

OK so I gave this park a 2 because it was not well maintained. Some of the more permanent sites were dirty and very messy. The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful. Kind and helpful. The roads were all dirt and had many potholes and deep gullies which were not great for a big rig. Out site was fairly long but not anywhere near level. Even with our leveler. Sites a little close. Glad we did not put out out awning.

Pros: - The booking agent was very nice, friendly and helpful. -The women's bathroom was very clean and updated. -Location was convenient as we were passing cross country. Cons: -The entire "resort" is extremely run down. -Pot holes everywhere that may have damaged our rig. -Hard to locate spots since the numbers are not present or completely faded. -We found the place on HH and the advertised discount was not honored. -The $58/night was $38 overpriced. -The signs all had the previous company name which was confusing since the new name was absolutely no where to be seen. -You can practically give the RV next to you a high5 because it's so close. We barely could put our steps down to enter our camper. -The advertised pool was green. This RV park has potential with the correct improvements. Maybe lower the price until those improvements have been made so more people don't get sucker punched/catfished into thinking they are getting something they are not.

VERY old and outdated. Grass was overgrown everywhere and full of stickers!, pool is green, game room was closed due to vandalism, lots of full timers here and there was a lot of traffic coming and going and they were not camping here. We were camping in a camper and didn’t see the ‘resort’ to rate that. Lost water pressure in the evening and still none in the morning. The playground had splintered wood. I do not recommend!

We utilized our Coast to Coast membership to book a stay at this resort, but were also was charged a nightly park fee of $31.00. This was an unexpected charge, as our previous experiences with Coast to Coast at 5-star RV resorts did not involve additional fees. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and the office was tastefully decorated. Although one bathroom and laundry facility were unavailable, the remaining bathroom and shower were clean and well-maintained, with a satisfactory hot water supply. However, the resort's grounds were somewhat neglected, with a pool that had a greenish hue, reminiscent of a scene from National Lampoon's Vacation. Given the recent change in ownership, it would be advisable for the new owners to focus on enhancing the overall appearance of the grounds. We felt secure in our site, which was located near the entrance, but observed that the sewer system appeared to be backed up, with dried toilet paper scattered about. Furthermore, the permanent residents' sites, located further up the road, were not well-maintained, with several vehicles lacking license plates.

I want to start off by saying that the staff that we interacted with here were all very nice and extremely accommodating. The check in process was helpful and informative and the young lady working at the desk was quite willing to answer any questions. They also allowed me to receive a package there before we arrived, which was a lifesaver because it was my medications which I was out of. The road to get up to the office has a sharp, steep turn. We weren’t sure if we had made a wrong turn until we saw the signs pointing to where to park and register. The steep hills are worth it for the stunning views that greet you in the camping area. We really didn’t get to check much of the park out though because for the first time in our year-and-a-half of full-time RVing we left after just one night because we did not feel safe. We have tools for self-defense, but this was the first place that we felt the need to have such tools at the handy during the night. Likewise, we did not feel comfortable dropping the toad and leaving the rig and kids alone to go out and explore. There was a lot of yelling at various times day and night, and the security truck at night is loud enough to wake us up several times. I am happy they had security, I just wish they didn’t have a vehicle that sounds like it lost its muffler years ago. When we arrived and were getting set up our neighbor came out of his camper heading toward his car. I said “hello neighbor!” just being polite. His response was a terse “nope” as he walked away mumbling something about “effing people.” Early this morning when I was taking the dog out for a walk I spotted a group of children looking into car windows and possibly trying handles, though they were too far down the hill for me to tell for certain if they were doing more than just looking. Things like this made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Our other neighbor always had his windows open, which is fine, but because the sites are so close it was hard not to feel like we were eavesdropping on his telephone conversations when we went outside. We booked the reservation through RPI, and shortly after, RPI reached out and said the park wanted to know the age and condition of our rig. As we were driving up the hill to our site we had to wonder why they asked those questions because it was very clear their standards are very low. A significant number of the sites are taken by annuals who live there and most of the RVs had me looking for Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul to come popping out of one of them. We joked that after asking those questions, our answers should have disqualified us because it is new and in good working order. Our site was pull-thru and quite long – we were able to get our 36’ rig along with our dolly and toad into the site. The length of the sites is offset by their width. Walking around the rig we had to duck under our slides to avoid stepping onto our neighbor’s site. There would not have been room to put out an awning and sit outside. It is a shame because from the pictures we were really looking forward to our stay here. If they got rid of the garbage it would be a great place to stay. With some upgrades and maybe taking one of every three sites and splitting it between its neighbors to offer larger sites that they could charge more for. Overall, as a park to spend a night at traveling through, this place would probably be okay for you; but if you are someone who likes to stay for a little while and go out and about, this place did not give us a good feeling about doing that.

We used a Passport America card for a 50% discount. It is a great stop on our way to Texas. Super nice employees and great pull through with full hookups.
